  1. add the ability to snail mail an estimate

    Just like the invoice screen, I have quite a few luddite customers who rarely check email and would love to be able to use your snail mail feature to send an estimate. Thanks

  3. View Customer Detail Screen

    Directly under Customer Info box is the Communications Log box and Contacts box. You might consider either making these boxes movable or customizable or having the boxes most often used directly under the Customer Info box: Tickets on the right and Invoices on the left.

  4. Confirmed Appointment Status

    Place a status update somwhere on the ticket, in the calendar, somewhere that denotes that they customer has confirmed the appointment. So helpful especially for in the field jobs to make sure clients have been confirmed before sending out techs.

  5. Make parts of bundles customizeable within a category

    currently the bundle item only allows to assign specific items to a bundle. When using this for repair bundles that include various parts and labor, the current system requires a laborious effort in creating a new bundle for each variable; such as screen repair of device using different colored glass.

    ie. a sunsung s4 screen repair requires that I make a bundle for red, black, blue, white, pink, etc...

  6. Link to Paypal Transaction from Invoice

    Many times a customer will pay for an invoice using some other business Paypal account or account that is not recognizable easily as them. When I see in RS that an invoice is paid, I'd like to be able to click a link to go directly to the paypal transaction---or at least give me a Paypal transaction ID, or Paypal account name or something.

    This is really essential for folks that primarily do online mail-in repair business with customers paying through Paypal.

    Hey, you are right – just in case this is good enough, can you try going to /payments (Payments List) and clicking “View” – there should be quite a few details in the bottom left.

  7. First letter of first word typed in a field should be a capital

    It would be most helpful if the first letter of the first word typed anywhere in repairshopr was a capital (or at least in customer details page). If we are on the phone, taking customer details it is hard to hold the shift key and type a word while holiding the phone!

  8. Pop Up Reminders

    Pop up note and/or reminders for customers, inventory and/or vendors. Specifically, I am thinking that a popup would show when an account is selected and will remind/notify the user that there is something that requires attention. Text in the pop up would be up to the users, just need the popup as a feature. Things like customer has outstanding balance or vendor has outstanding RMA or to record product serial number,

    We added this for Customers using the Pop Up option in Custom Fields.

  9. Allow editing of ordered and arrived status from the part order screen

    It would be great if on the part order screen the ordered and arrived fields can be edited instead of having to go into each individual part to mark them as ordered as this can be quite time consuming if you have many parts.

  10. Have a selling device wizard

    Your repair device wizard is a great feature. You should also offer a selling device wizard which allows a customer to sell their device directly to the store. It should work the same way as the repair wizard only when they choose their options, it would give a price for the device at the end of the journey which allows them to enter their contact details.

    There is a Business Name Field but no where to actually add the business name only a First and Last on the new window entry form.

  12. Allow for disabling of auto-updated ticket status

    Currently, if a ticket is set to "Waiting for Part" and a comment is posted in the notes, it will automatically change the ticket status to "In Progress". Sometimes that feature helps but sometimes it mis-categorizes tickets. It'd be nice to have the ability to disable this feature.

  13. Create an area in the Time Clock Admin to put in future Paid Day off requests.

    When an employee gives notice of a requested paid time off for a date in the future, have a place in the time clock admin that will keep track of this so when that week comes, that day is already put in the totals for the pay period.

  14. Better Quickbooks Import options

    We have been using QuickBooks for a very long time and over the years inventory items have come and gone. As you could imagine, our QuickBooks has several inventory items that we no longer sell. We imported our inventory items from QuickBooks initially and disabled all the items that we were not going to use. We then went through, one by one, each item and selected the "Linked QuickBooks Item" to match the category in QuickBooks we wanted. This took some time but we can deal with that.   15. Add technician assigned as an available tag on the email templates

    Being able to inform the client of which technician is assigned to their ticket request in the email template would be a huge benefit.

  16. Ability To Edit Ticket Updates

    Would love the ability to edit ticket updates. For those times you put the wrong status or need to make any changes.

    That way the ticket isn't cluttered with multiple ticket entries just to make a status change ETC.

  17. Amazon Home Services API to link with RepairShopr?

    How cool would it be if Amazon Home Services can tie in with RepairShopr? We just got listed on AHS, so it would be cool if our leads from there came in directly to RS so we can reply immediately and don't have to maintain Amazon's system as well. We already have enough systems to maintain!

    We’re definitely watching this. Would love to see what kind of volumes RepairShopr users are seeing from this. If it becomes significant we’d love to look at an integration.

  19. Integrate with HomeAdvisor & Thumbtack

    Add ability for system to automatically book/accept leads from HomeAdvisor & Thumbtack lead services. When a lead is accepted/received process the lead into the system as a 'new lead/contact' with the information submitted to the lead system.

    Hey, can you email us a copy of the “new lead” emails those services send you? We can probably do that pretty easily if they email you the details..

  20. Tool Bar NOT scroll with the page

    The tool bar with the icons for Customers, Tickets, Invoices, etc scrolls up, off of the screen as a form is filled in or a list is examined. To change to another section of RepairShopR, the user must scroll back up to the top of the page to get to the icons.

    If that tool bar were fixed so it does not scroll off of the screen, it would always be available fo th the next step.
