  1. Multiple tax support

    Currently we can't integrate and use repairshopr with quickbooks online and for general invoicing as it only allows us to use 1 tax rate. We have to bill 2 different taxes on an invoice and it only lets us select one.

    Quickbooks Online fails to sync when it tries to get to this line as well. Presumably because it's looking for the second tax.

  2. Allow negative (minus) stock levels in inventory

    There are quite a few occasions where we sell an item before we get stock of it (laptops not in our 'in-store' range etc.or if we've had a run on a particular item and replacements aren't due in until the next day etc.)
    If the stock was allowed to go into negative numbers, it could let us know how many we need to get stock levels back to where we need and correct the levels when we book new orders in the PO section.

    We added a proper backorder (order queue) system to go negative into – it’s beta for about another week, then everyone will get a setting to turn it on via their inventory settings page.

  4. Improvements to iOS app

    We just started using the Mercury integrated payment option with the iOS reader and are excited about moving away from Square. I am noticing some slight issues that are making the process a burden for us.

    -After taking the payment, we have the customer sign but we are having issues emailing the receipt from the app. Along with that, if we select done from the same page it will take us to the list of invoices but if we press the back button it will take us back to the page to email the receipt.

    I’m going to mark this as complete, it’s partially complete – and if you want to split some of these items out into their own entry that would be good to get more eyes on it.

    The closing related tickets should be fixed, the emailing invoices should be fixed.

  5. Instant In-App CID Alert Notifications for current Incoming Calls

    Mentioned in a previous topic, this was outside of the scope of the initial feedback request, so I wanted to put it in its own topic to hopefully get voted and approved. See existing topic here:

    It would be awesome to have an in-app alert/notification/pop-up for incoming phone calls with the customer’s details. Many phone/cable companies do this (Brighthouse, Time Warner, Comcast, etc), where the caller ID of an inbound call shows on your TV if you have a Phone/TV plan with them.

  6. True two way Xero sync

    I would like to see the ability to sync payments both ways between Repairshopr and Xero as currently when you reconcile your bank accounts in Xero you then have to mark invoices as paid in Repairshopr.

    It just adds an additional step for admin staff, which is smaller business is the same as the technical staff.

    Yes, this is live. We have limited information from Xero about payments and are currently matching on customer and payment amount. We plan to add a check in the near future to verify that the payment has not been otherwise applied to a different invoice as well.

  7. POS and Close Cash Report Improvements

    The POS system needs a bit of an overhaul in a couple of aspects, but the main (and possibly and easy fix) issue that I am having, is related to the processing of payments. When tendering a transaction, there should be nothing preselected in terms of payment type; I cannot tell you how many times one of our sales assistants has put through a card payment as cash, or the other way around.

  8. Formula based discount (or markup)

    I would like to be able to offer a VAT discount to customers who cannot reclaim VAT. Even though we are VAT registered, we want to be able to 'strip' the VAT amount from a product using the formula x = x / 120*100.

    Simply put, an item selling for £100+VAT is £120 to the customer.
    We want to give customers an offer of (eg) NO VAT in January.
    We want to create a product called 'VAT Friendly'

  9. implement a quick buy-back workaround (until refurb module is live)

    Basically, please allow us to invoice a negative qty of an existing serialised inventory item (and prompt for the new serial). This would allow us to buy an item off a customer while at the same time factoring the buy price in on their invoice AND adding the new item to inventory stock!

    i.e I would like the ability to invoice for -1 x Refurbished iPhone 5 16GB Black (and prompt for the new serial number).

  10. Add some form of security or certificate badge on the online pay portal page

    We love using the integrated email system to send out the professional looking invoices to our customers. When the customer clicks on the "pay with credit card" link in the email, they are forwarded to a webpage that allows them type in their credit card information. However many of our customers are not utilizing the credit card payment feature. When we asked why they do not want to pay with their cards, many replied saying that the webpage they are directed to does not look very secure or official.

  11. Show Cost Price for Estimates and Invoices

    Currently you can only see the Retail Price of all the items on both Estimates and Invoices. There is no way to see the Cost Price of individual items or a Cost Total of all the items. I can do this by using an Excel spreadsheet, but this takes way too much extra time. If we could see the Cost Price alongside the Retail Price, then it would be much faster and very useful. This would be very useful for seeing the amount of potential profit for a job. Obviously it would only need to be visible to the technicians…

    The cost does show when you expand a line item using the down arrow.

    We also pre-calculate profit for you, just hover over the total field in the upper right.

  12. Z-out report standards

    Make the Z-Out report more like industry standard Z-Out reports.
    We've been using a few different Point of sale systems for a long long time. All of them did the Z-Out reports so it was easy for our employees to know what they needed to do.
    1. Gave a "Total Cash to deposit" value. This told the employee exactly what amount to pull from the drawer to add to a deposit, and how much would be left in the drawer (a pre-defined amount we set). This was separate from checks and CC, just the cash.

  14. Add appointments to the customer record

    When you create an appointment, can this be 'stamped' in the customer record card? This is the case for appointments made as a result of a ticket but not non-ticket appointments. It could just be a list under the customer info section - in the same place as the list of historical invoices, tickets, warranties, assets etc for that customer.

    When you click disable on inventory items, it always takes you back to page 1. That's pretty annoying. Stay on the same page you were working on.

  16. Suggest that a means be provided to easily print the Imnventory Valuaton report.

    It is necessary to periodically verify inventory levels. It would be advantageous to be able o print the Inventory Valuation Report to use as a check sheet.

  17. No Diagnostic Needed in tickets

    We would like to have checkbox for "Diagnostic Not Needed" just above "Is work approved to proceed?" Many times when a ticket is created we already no what the problem is and there is no need to do a diagnostic.

  18. Email option to send PDF instead of link to online profile

    When I fill out an invoice and press the 'email' button it sends the customer an email saying
    "Hi customer
    Your invoice is attached.
    View your account profile online: Online Profile"

    And the customer must press a link to go to their online profile.

    Could you instead set up the email button to send the same
    "Hi customer
    Your invoice is attached"

    However instead of an online link, include the pdf invoice as an attachment email?
