Add some form of security or certificate badge on the online pay portal page
We love using the integrated email system to send out the professional looking invoices to our customers. When the customer clicks on the "pay with credit card" link in the email, they are forwarded to a webpage that allows them type in their credit card information. However many of our customers are not utilizing the credit card payment feature. When we asked why they do not want to pay with their cards, many replied saying that the webpage they are directed to does not look very secure or official.
To us techs, we obviously see that the site is https protected and all is well. However our customers do not know to look for that and nothing on the page relieves their anxiety of giving out their credit card info. Perhaps you could add some sort of flashy security certificate badge or an official statement about the security of the site? We believe we will have more customers paying online if that were the case. Thanks!
