Make Private comments editable.
I know this has been raised before but it would be soooo helpful to be able to edit private comments so we can add job notes etc in a continuous stream rather than having to copy paste and throwing out all the date stamps.14 votes -
Credit Card Convenience Fee
As I roll into 2020 and review my previous year, one of my large expenses is credit card processing fees. I've renegotiated my Vantiv contract as well as looked at alternatives. Regardless, I've left over $6,000 on the table in fees.
I've noted that a lot of my customers and local businesses (restaurants, gift shops, smaller hotels) are all now starting to charge a "Convenience Fee" on credit card transactions to recoup the ever increasing fees that are paid to process the card.

Print multiple ticket labels based on ticket content
We love RepairShopr for our computer and cell phone repair shop. There is a checkbox on our tickets called "Power Cord," which is selected when customers have included the charger for their computers. When checked, we would like to print 2 ticket labels – one for the computer, one for the charger – so that we don't have to manually print an extra one. Would anyone else like to see this feature integrated? Thanks in advance.

Make the Issue Type and Customer Field Type The Same Thing
Selecting an Issue type when creating a new ticket should trigger the Custom Fields and linked Worksheets. It makes no sense to have them be separate Items. You can allow us to select what custom fields each issue type is linked to so it does not have to be a one-to-one relationship.

End of day automatic customer update
Hi

ScreenConnect Integration on steroids
I was really excited to see ScreenConnect listed in the extensions! My two favorite things coming together like peanut butter and jelly. Setup was easy. I would like to suggest some next step features for this pairing.

Allow inventory to flagged as "with a certain tech"
All of our techs carry inventory stock in their car so they can pull a part while on a job site to sell to a customer when needed. I am talking about parts that are a part of our sellable inventory, not random cables or adapters they have in their bags. Something that would help me tremendously to keep track of stock, is to be able to mark which serial numbers they currently should have in their car. Quoting vs. Estimate
Our business is quite interested in going ahead with RepairShopr as it ticks a lot of boxes for us, expect for one major (to us) feature. At the moment the Estimate system available within RepairShopr seems to be locked into the start of the workflow, and not much ability to be used at any other point in it.
Our business is majority focussed on repairs and currently receive around 100 jobs a week. Of the non-warranty jobs from these we need to quote the repair before completing work, so quoting is a fairly big part of our work.

Option to print labels to sheets instead of label printer
Specifically for use when receiving inventory, so the label printer isn't spitting out 100 individual labels, and we can just use 3 sheets of label paper.

make it possible to require Custom Fields for new customers.
Under Customer Settings we can assign required fields for new customers. I'd like to be able to make a custom additional field a required field.
For example, we would like the program to prompt the employee creating the new customer record to assign the customer as either residential, contract, or business. We have the custom field created but we are finding it difficult for our employees to remember to assign each new customer as the appropriate type because it's in a different tab from where we enter all the other information for a new customer.14 votesWe’ll continue to look into ways to do this, right now we didn’t want the required fields on the second tab to trip people up – since they aren’t in view.

Daily Payments Report
Please make it possible for the 'Daily Payments Report' to be automatically scheduled to run daily & emailed to a specified email address. Could be useful for other reports too.

A mention / notification system.
If a tech posts a hidden comment inside of ticket calling out to another tech or help desk admin.. they'll be notified within the interface rather than an email.
Example "Repair is completed @helpdeskadmin." The helpdeskadmin then receives a notification within repairshopr that the ticket needs to be invoiced and the customer contacted.

Manual sync for Xero
Greetings all,
I have been having a few issues with incorrectly entered invoices and some payments posting to Xero automatically. I think it might be valuable to have an option for a manual sync button instead of it being automated. This would allow me a chance to correct mistakes prior to syncing with Xero (backing out some of the transactions can be most time consuming). I don't think that I have any downside on a manual post as I can do it just prior to working in Xero at the end of the day.

Book appointments for different calenders
In the appointments app you should be able to create different widgets attached to different calender's. You should also be able to set different appointment variables for different calendar's.
I.E can have a calendar for Out-Calls & one for In-Calls with different parameters.

Allow an RMA to be received with a different serial number
Here's something I noticed that would be really useful. While running through how we can use the RMA/Returns Manager, I noticed a pretty big shortcoming regarding how serialized products are handled.
Take a laptop for example -- Upon RMA, this could go a few directions. Perhaps the hard drive is bad; we would receive the same laptop (and same serial number) and all would be right in the land of inventory and serial tracking. Now, maybe the motherboard is bad. Maybe the whole thing is DOA; the vendor may decide to send me back a different laptop entirely. This laptop…13 votes -
Photo Attachments
It would be great if you could view your ticket attachment photos real-time in a thumbnail or something in the ticket work flow instead of having to click on them and open in a new window. Then when you click on it have it open up in a lightbox overlay so you stay on the same page and it's not so disruptive. Not urgent, but would definitely speed things up! Thanks!

Add a "Reprint Receipt" Button to the receipt screen
Add a "reprint" button on the receipt screen after paying a invoice. This way if you need two receipts you can print another manually. I know this can be done automatically in the printer setup, but I only need two receipts when doing credit cards( one for them to sign, and one for them to take with them. Printing 2 automatically for every invoice would waste alot of paper. Currently I have to leave the receipt screen pull up the customer record and print another one from the payment window. Another way would be to change the number of reciepts…

Need more custom Rate options
Currently we can set labor rates as an inventory item and with the new Contracts option we can set overrides for each customer. This is good but not great.
To compete with other PSA's out there I think that Rates need to be separated from inventory and contracts. For example having global rates and per customer rates, and having rules to calculate the rates automatically based on Work Types (tech, engineer) and job types. We could definitely capture a lot more billable time and higher priced work if these abilities were there.

Add tax rules to labor
In Florida we have to charge tax on labor when there is a tangible product sold on the same invoice. Can you add an option on labor sku's that will automatically switch tax on when another taxable product is on the same invoice? or even add a "tangible" checkbox to inventory items and setup the rule to trigger from that option.
