  2. Web Link option for Worksheet field type

    It would be great if you could add the option of adding a web link to the worksheet field type. Currently, we use that option under Assets, but it would greatly help our workflow if that same option could be on worksheets as well. Thanks for considering

  3. Update the inventory RMA system

    Accessing the Returns Manager can be very useful, however when we are creating up an RMA it would be nice to have a better read on the details rather than a smashed together list of products in an RMA. We process returns quite frequently as we have busy shops, and when using this feature there is no way to export these items to send to our vendor as an RMA list. We actually have to create this RMA, then create a whole other RMA list on a spreadsheet to send to the vendor. This doubles the work required to process…

  4. Ability to clone assets

    It would be nice to be able to clone an asset type. I have multiple asset types, each with the same fields. As it stands now, when I create a new asset type, I have to manually add each field to that asset type. If I could clone the asset type and its fields, all I would need to do is change the name of the asset type.

  5. Payment method assigned Quickbooks account

    It would make things a lot easier if you could assign the Quickbooks account to each payment method. Quckbooks online does not have this feature yet.

  6. Merge as Contact

    We often get requests from individuals either using a personal e-mail account for company requests or from customers who only use gmail addresses for their business. We need a "merge as contact" option to get their account merged in to the main account but preserve their contact info so future requests automatically come in under the main company account. Currently, we have to merge their account and then manually add their contact information.

    The one report I have to forward to my staff on a daily basis is the "TICKET(s) GETTING STALE" report. Can you add this to the Schedule Reports? Thank you.

  8. Invoice Search Filter

    As a bare minimum can we please have a filter on the Invoice page to filter on Invoices with an attached ticket that is still OPEN (not resolved). We sync payments form Xero so we need a way to see PAID invoices that still have open tickets associated with them.

    Further on this, can get get a bulk action or a 'process' to be able to automatically mark associated tickets as "Resolved" once the payment has been received?

  9. Offer a feature to create a statement for a customer based on invoices within a certain time period (last month, last year).

    We've been asked by customers to provide a statement of their spendings for last year, and could not find a way to create a report that would show the info in a statement form. The only way to do it is to create a report with a complete invoice dump, and then use the relevant details for the specific customer (a bit too long of a process..)

  11. Revise the time entering black under the public comment box

    We use this field to enter time into a ticket for most jobs. Since you have to enter minutes and not hours worked, i have noticed a few times my techs and myself have accidentally entered for example 2.5 because we spent 2.5 hours on something while we should have entered 150. It's a simple, but costly mistake.

    I suggest that you make either some basic cosmetic changes to remind us to enter minutes, not hours. Simple text in the field would do. Or, you could create a warning dialog for any number entered under 5. Or, you could provide…

  12. Link prices between items

    We have a separate inventory item for each variant of a phone (ex: Note 4 AT&T, Note 4 Verizon, Note 4 Sprint, Note 4 T-Mobile, etc). A feature that would let us link prices of multiple items together would be nice so if we drop the price of Note 4s we only need to do it to one to update the price on every linked variant.

  13. Make all phone number types available for templates

    Right now, we're able to collect and store all sorts of phone numbers for customers, but it's only possible to include {{customerphone}} and {{customermobile}} in the ticket or invoice templates. I'd like to be able to stick the shortcodes for each number type in my template, and then, as long as there's a number in the field, that number will be displayed. Ideally, if a particular field is blank, the shortcode would simply leave the space empty or maybe return a "n/a" or "null" if necessary.

  14. Prepay Customer Statements

    When a prepaid customer hits ZERO hours, I would like a way to run a report for them to show what tickets were assigned to those hours and how many hours each ticket used.

    This is very important as customers need to know EXACTLY where their money is being spent.

  16. Quickbooks Integration will not sync your Late Fee Payments over to a specific account

    I found a little nuance in QuickBooks when I noticed a late fee on an invoice. The account it is putting that fee under is "Computer Part Income," which may be because we didn't have a "Late Fee Income" item. I created a "Late Fee Income" Product/Service Item in QBO. Would you please make that change for us within RS?

    Thanks for writing! Currently the Quickbooks Integration will not sync your Late Fee Payments over to a specific account set up in Quickbooks Online, and will instead apply those payments towards your Default Quickbooks Product which is currently set up…

  18. Better documentation of email template semantics

    The default email template wrapper has no <html> tags or <head> section or metadata inside , just a <style> tag and then the main <body>

    The meta is important, particularly
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width"> to produce a responsive template as well as title attributes to help trust by email clients.

    My compiled email templates obviously include such markup in full, but its unclear as to whether this should be ommitted and is added by RS as a wrapper to the wrapper (& is uneditable) or simply that the default markup is basic and simply ommits such markup.

  19. link inbound email to parts orders

    I would love to have an inbound email address setup within RepairShopr where I could have a filter setup in my email to automatically forward shipping notifications and order updates and have those linked to their associated order (probably in the notes section).

    Since most vendors tend to use similar wording on their order updates (at least in terms of identifying order numbers, tracking numbers, etc), I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard to parse over those and link up the information? :)
