  1. QR Codes instead of barcodes

    Wouldn't it be nice that if I grab a device for repair, the ticket would have a QR code that when I scan that with my mobile phone, I get the mobile page for the related ticket? Barcodes are a nice idea, however I think QR Codes would work better in this instance.

  2. Add ability to book stock, parts etc. out to the store for personal/store use

    There are many occasions where we end up booking out stock to use in-store. Currently, the only way I can do this is to create a customer as the store but this means that we also have to pay the bill at the end which gets a bit of a headache with discounts etc.
    Perhaps there is a way that the store could book out items without all this messing about?
    Perhaps a screen we can go to - scan the item, click confirm and the system does the rest?

  3. Web design and hosting services module

    My idea is to integrate a module to sell and invoice other services which could really use the existing recurring invoicing feature.

    Its no news that computer repair is becoming very competitive as computers become more popular and most of us have emerged into other related industries such as web design, hosting, security systems and even printing.

  4. Mobile Barcode or App.

    Being that a lot of us in the shop use iPhone's or iPad's; having a mobile barcode option to quickly pull up a client would be very handy. I'm not sure if this can be done via the mobile version of the site or not but also an App (even if just tied to the mobile version website) would be awesome!

  5. Followup - To Do system for entire staff

    Hello~

    It would be great to be able to keep an entire team up to date on any special "to-do's" or "follow-ups" that are required. Think of it like a pin up/sticky note system that your entire staff can easily see and update.

    Currently, we can only setup reminders for ourselves... as good as we all are... sometimes having other's be able to see these reminders can help get task done if someone falls behind.

    The more collective we are... the better we are~ Kind of like the Borg :)

    Appreciate the suggestion. Is the main change that you’d like to see everyone’s reminders in one place? Or would this be a different feature all together?

  6. Ability to sync Google Tasks with dashboard reminders

    I am sure the Google Tasks API is just an extension of the Calendar API - It would be great if I could have all of my reminders/tasks in one place (especially on my mobile/tablet). How easy would it be to implement this?

    Looking to have the payment report sent automatically every night to our closing employees who do not have admin rights and also having a way to only run and send this for a specific date range

    It would be very helpful to have the ticket title apart of the dashboard short description. (Email isn't helpful at a glance if space needs to be made)

  9. More Robust Contact Management (Vendors / Customers / Contactors / etc)

    It would be nice if there was a "Contacts" section that stored your Vendors / Customers / Contactors / etc. I would just like to see more options for keeping track of relationships with much more than just customers!

  10. Reminder button in ticket and customer view.

    This button would allow reminders to be place on the calendar and in the reminder section. Allowing for easy follow ups without creating ticket just yet.

    This can also be merged with the Appointment button, but with an options menu; appointment or reminder or followup.

  13. Human Resource Management

    hi again,

    now that repairshopr is constantly evolving into a more robust script,
    i would like to suggest that a simple human resource calendar into the script.

    then all of our staffs will have access to calendar and know their off day from the panel itself,

    as the employees, we can manage the time for our employees better, and make proper arrangement for everyone.

  14. add a custom page feature to embed external pages

    It would be nice if there was a way to add a page to the dashboard which could embed an external website (i.e. a Google Calendar or chat module from another website). That way users could add their own functionality to the software without having to wait for it to be added to RepairShopr.

    Add branding to invoice payment screen

    Would love to have our logo on the invoice payment screen. This is the screen that comes up when a customer clicks ->Pay by Credit Card. Right now it's just bland and blank especially on the right hand side. Would be nice to have our company logo so that the customer knows they can trust the process.

  17. Contract: Define quantity in price override; Apply fixed discount on Inventory items

    Hello,

    We are in the final stages of setting up Repairshopr and finally go paperless :) but there are a few things on the contract feature that will come extremely handy.

    In price override would be great to set a max quantity for each item. For example for the product "x" we would like to set the price override for a certain amount of pieces. Passed that number of pieces the system will bill the regular price.

    Second, having the option to add a "fixed" discount on ALL inventory items at once. We have a certain amount of parts already…

  18. Show Labor Log entries under Communications

    Any time I notice a stale ticket assigned to my techs, I check the ticket's Communications' comments. When I approach the tech for not seeing any comments, roughly 1 out of 3 times their respond is "I put it in the Labor Log". It would be much more efficient if those entries could show up under Communications as well (maybe as a public or private note?)

  19. Add date of charge to pending ticket charges report (including CSV)

    I (try to) use the pending ticket charges report as part of my billing process, but not having the dates of the charges (esp. in the CSV) is a bit frustrating, and such an easy thing to add. Why is that info missing from the report?
