  1. Electronic Signature and Terms on Customer Purchases

    I need to be able to set custom terms and have an electronic signature on the Customer Purchase invoice. That way you can guarantee the item will not be declared lost or stolen or impose fees and penalties that can be collected in court without having to store cumbersome paperwork or print-sign-scan.

  2. Please add a line item to the Z report to show dollar total for non-taxed sales

    As the title says, we would love to see the Z report show a line item listing the dollar total for non-taxed sales. This is important information for accounting, and having it included on the Z report means we can eliminate a few extra steps from our end-of-day processes and cut down on the amount of time our accountant has to spend looking through our other reports to reconcile our taxed vs non-taxed sales.

  3. When in logistics the when you click the blue arrow to accept things it doesn't go back to the first page.

    When you go into logistics and click the blue arrow to accept the item being transferred it automatically sends you to the first page of the logistics. Makes it really inconvenient to pick up where you left off when multiple things came in together.

  4. Open Cash drawer button in POS

    I hate having to get the keys out if I want to open the drawer, plus it doesn't record who opened the drawer and for what reason. If there was an "open cash drawer" button in the POS section it would help with twos things. 1. Not having to physically open the drawer with the key. 2. Adds responsibility and records who who opened the drawer with time and date, and you could even have an optional "What was your reason for opening the drawer" Comment section.

  5. With the updates to the Estimates section what do we do with all our existing estimates that had already been invoiced?

    Is there a quick way to automatically approve all previously invoiced estimates and perhaps prompt on what to do with those that haven't?
    Would to have to go through them all manually and don't want to leave them as is as it is now saying that there a heap of pending estimates when in fact there are not.

    Thank you for this suggestion! In a recent update we’ve added a “Approve All Invoiced Estimates” button to the Estimates Preferences page.

  6. Z-report has a line for overage/shortage

    Currently the z-report before closing the register has the expected cash. After calculating the register, the z-report will report the counted cash (whether that amount is the same or different). However, I would like something that says the overage or shortage between the expected cash and the counted cash. It's not uncommon to be short a few cents and I'd like it to be noted on the z-report so I can accurately keep record of what is expected to be there versus was was really there.

  7. D7 integration

    Can you add additional reports to the Ticket Computer reports? Not just the info report, but other reports like malware logs or any report or log in the Reports and Malware folders for d7. This will enhance customer service and keep a log of everything done to computer

  8. Inventory Count (stock take module)

    It would be nice to have an option for the store manager to conduct a blind inventory count. They could enter in skus and the number of the inventory they have and it could generate a report of it compared to what is supposed to be on hand. It could then give the option to generate adjustments in the inventory.

    Hey – thanks for voting on this everyone, we have a beta of this out and the final will probably be live for everyone around December 1st 2015.

    If you are a beta tester, please find the new link to Stock Take on the admin page, or inventory page. Try it out on a small subset of products.

    There are a couple modes for entry currently. You can just barcode scan from mobile or laptop/etc, you can search for a product and type in how many you have, or you can use the onscreen keypad (ipad?).

    Let us know if there is another method you’d like to see to speed things up!

    The FAQ page will be ready shortly.

  9. Tie RMA to inventory item

    Right now the RMA system is just to keep records of needing to return a part but it does not change the inventory amount. To make the RMA system more effective it would be great if an RMA request would change the inventory amount and if there was a way to have an RMA report.

  10. Faster Login for Shared POS Registers

    Like many computer repair shops, we have multiple technicians who check-in computers and take payments on shared computers. While every technician has their own PC that they use for repairs/email/RS, our 4 technicians share 2 additional computers at the front of the store that are used solely for intakes and payments (touch screen, credit card swipers, etc.)

    It's extremely difficult to use (or audit) shared computers using the current interface. We tried having separate Windows user accounts, but tech's forget to logout. Then we tried Chrome profiles, but tech's forget to switch to their session. Then we tried setting auto-logout…

  11. Brandable ticket program

    It would be nice to have something we can install on our clients computer that runs in the bottom right hand corner where the user can double click on it and it would bring them to their profile where they can create their own tickets.

    I feel like if we were able to have something running on a customers computer (particularly business clients) that they could make their own ticket from we would generate a significantly higher amount of tickets, thus more jobs, thus more revenue.

    Currently we use screen connect, which is completely brandable and installs on the customers…

  12. Separate tax exempt invoices in sales tax reports

    When using QB POS, it generates a sales tax report that is able to separate tax exempt tickets from taxable (invoices for churches, government, etc). It has been nice to keep track of these tickets and keep notes when paying monthly sales tax, just in case we are ever questioned on these particular tickets. If RS could have a similar option, that would be awesome.

    There are not permission for assets in the Security Groups section. I would like to remove the delete button for a specific group.

    Thank you for this suggestion! In a recent update we added “Assets – Delete” as a security group setting, so you can now specify which users can delete assets and which cannot.

  14. We really like the log capability on the customer screen

    We have found this to be very useful when a customer phones in, we can make notes about the call and then create a ticket to suit or we can just leave the notes there for reference. This is already saving us a lot of paper! If it was possible, we would like to add "Visit" to the communication type so that we can tell if they called in to the showroom. I don't think we have the ability to populate this list. It would also be nice to have the audit trail attached to these notes, the date and…

  15. Inventory search error! Can only find items if full title in original sequence is searched

    It is not possible to search for a part unless I know the exact name of it, and if I type the words in the original sequence.
    When searching items in the inventory results are missing items that should be listed, sometimes no results are shown for certain items that should be listed.

    We swapped out the product search with the real search engine a few weeks ago – it should now not care about order and be a bit more powerful in general. Thanks!

  16. Block unwanted leads

    It would be great to have the ability to be able to block email addresses within the leads system of RS. I receive far too many emails from the same companies offering their products and services to our inbound email address and it is driving me crazy. The ability to block via email address and via a domain name would be perfect.

    What is one major thing RS is missing relating to recurring revenues?

    SUBSCRIPTION management. A section in the portal and in their profile labeled subscriptions. Imagine yearly billing for AV... Automatically- It would contain...

    Start/end dates
    Cost per month
    Description of subscription (antivirus, data backup, VoIP service, equipment leases, MSP program, web hosting etc...)
    Contract terms (contract docs, renews automatically, early termination cost, term agreement length, etc)
    Invoice terms (paid monthly by 5th day of each month, late fee of x)

    Clients should be able to see their subscriptions easily. They should be able to request cancelation or…

    We are marking this as done, a big upgrade was done a couple weeks ago.

    We do plan to add some more of this, but we’ll need to come back to it in a few weeks.

  18. Modification to View Customer Detail overview data

    Love the new Balanced/Invoiced data. Why not have the same open/total information for Tickets and Invoices, too?

    I am new to this solution and am comparing vendors. I like what I see from you guys, but it doesn't look great when you footer is out of date. Not trying to be a jerk just thought I would let you know as you are probably busy making your product better.

  20. Daily Payments Report

    For the daily Payments Report, would it be possible to create another column to link the payments to invoice or invoices the payment applies to?
