  1. Report for Labour Description

    An idea we could use is being able to view a report of all the parts and labour we have sold which shows the description as well.

    Pending ticket charges shows the tickets and allows you to drill down per ticket, but there is no way to see it all on one page.

  2. Please add an option to set "Hide Invoice" as by checked by default.

    There should be a setting to set "Hide Invoice" to checked, by default. This way, when you click on tickets it automatically hides all tickets set to Invoiced instead of having to filter it each and every time you access the tickets, which for some of us is dozens of times per day.

  3. Add the option in Marketr to send an email when an invoice is paid.

    I would like the ability to send an email with links to popular review sites when an invoice is paid, and or resolved. Currently I have to go into the ticket and send a job completed message that send this email. It would be super awesome if I could have the option for Marketr do send this email automatically after the invoice is paid, or the ticket is closed.

  4. Store listed in customer purchase report

    Customer Purchase Report needs to have the store that purchased the devices with it.

  5. Payment Terms invoicing

    Hello, I am reporting a bug/issue. I had set up the first on the list to be Due Upon Receipt however, it was going to my second or third item on the list. I had changed it so that my Due Upon Receipt was that item.
    Now, I would like a feature that allows us to set up the default payment term for invoices. And another separate one specifically for reccurring invoices. We have a monthly service subscription and need to bill monthly for them and have them due at the first of them month. Which is what I had…

  6. I would like to be able to remove 'cash' as the default payment option on invoice payment screen

    I find that when staff here are processing payments for invoices, it would be better to have no payment type preselected, as it would force the sales assistant to manually select one.

    It would remove (or at least reduce) errors where cash is selected instead of offline cc, etc.

    The default on the page is simple the first Payment Method in the list. You can enter a space as the first option to default to a blank.

  7. Ticket Search Bar next to customer Search

    What would really increase the speed and ease of workflow was if there was a ticket search bar at the top next to customer search.

    Another idea would be to make the search a generic search so that it searches both tickets and customers.

    Here's an example of how I would use the Ticket Search.

    Say I am currently in the invoice section and I have a client call me and I want to quickly pull up there ticket.

    I go to search and type in their ticket number and it goes straight to the ticket.

  8. purchase order search

    At present I can not see a way to search through purchase orders other than to manually look. It would be very useful if the Purchase orders had a unique PO Number i.e 1001, 1002, 1003. Something that is easy... Then be able to search through the purchase orders. So I could search for purchase order 1321 and It would show me the parts I purchased, who from and what date to make returns easier.

  9. Add Contacts

    Hi,

    I want to add email addresses as contacts so that I can process communications from them, for example, I get email notifications regarding customers email accounts that I manage using Office 365.

    It would be good to store the email address and link the communication to tickets etc but they are not a customer.

  11. Toggle Visibility of Estimates

    Keep a client from seeing certain estimates until we're ready for them to see it. Depending on the situation, we often need to work on estimates for a bit before presenting them. I'd like to create an estimate, but not allow the client to see it in their portal until it's ready.

  12. Better Topaz machine options

    I would like my customers to be able to see their signature on the Topaz machine. RIght now when they're signing they stop half way thinking they're doing something wrong because they don't see their signature on the Topaz device. Banks use a higher end Topaz machines which customers have become accustomed to, it actually displays information the the Topaz screen. I would like to have that same machine.

    There's a simple button at the top of the screen labeled "My Tickets" in OSTicket that takes you directly to your ticket queue. This would be very helpful and make things much faster.

  14. Bounce return flag for invalid contact info

    would be nice to get a system alert on emails linked to accounts that get a return/invalid response. That way the issue can be addressed before the client calls wondering why they haven't been updated.

    Also, not sure if a solution to this may already exist... but, I have had several wrong emails that probably went to actual mail accounts due to vast pool of yahoo, gmail and other similar free accounts. Unfortunately, this scenario cannot be easily remedied, but still could be reduced. To help reduce this issue: a link to allow a wrong-recipient to notify that they are…

    This has been here forever, it puts a hidden comment on the ticket or customer record with the bounce message.

  15. Time Clock Report

    For the time clock report, and other employee reports, it would be really REALLY nice to have the employees alphabetized or in some other consistent order. I can't figure out what order they're in. Every pay period they seem to come out in some new random order.

    (I save a PDF of this report and the Employee Sales and Commission Report every pay period and copy the numbers into a spreadsheet to calculate their commission on a sliding scale. I also include travel reimbursement and then I have to copy the numbers from this spreadsheet into ADP to run payroll.…

    Thank you for this suggestion! In a recent update we’ve made sure that the names in employee-related reports are all sorted alphabetically.

  16. Customer Portal Options

    In the Customer Portal you currently show Tickets, Invoices, Estimates and Attachments.

    I would like to request the option to allow Assets and Contacts to be shown in the Customer Portal... Assets at the very least in read only mode. They're mostly just text versions of documents anyway.

    A secondary request would be to have an option to classify certain contacts as "managers" so they could see more data in the customer portal than basic staff. eg: Basic staff are tickets only and attachments or assets that aren't "manager" level, etc.

    Also as an aside, the initial customer portal login…

    Assets have been added to the customer portal. We don’t plan to add contacts, but the data contacts can access are set by their Portal User status. If you associate a login with the Admin name, that Portal User can access everything.

  17. Need a way to search for tickets (open and resolved) by Serial Number

    Because we are in a University Setting, machines are collectively owned by the University and will sometimes be re-assigned to different users (customers). I need a way to search for service tickets (or run a report) for all tickets created for a specific S/N.

  19. add service date per line-item for invoices

    We are often too busy to complete our invoicing the same day as the service. A single ticket for a larger project may also span multiple days. It would be helpful if we could set date per line-item on invoices. For example, 1/4 hour remote session one day, on-site visit the next day, on-site visit the day after that.

    If you click on the ticket timer and enter your labor there it will allow you to include service date and time automatically in the line item note.

  20. Separate Invoice terms and Estimate terms

    It would seem that the customized terms for an estimate and the terms for an invoice should be different, and yet they are the same. I created my estimate terms in preferences to say something to the effect that the estimate is valid for 7 days, and now that is printing on the invoices. Checking the invoice terms under preferences, and they are the same as estimate terms. I think they should be separated.
