  1. Estimates marked as Draft - by default (feature request)

We've had a growing issue with our estimate building.

All our technicians have the capability to build estimates. Depending if they're doing a repair, or building a quote for a new PC build; they create estimates.

The issue I've been having however, is that customers have been able to 'see' these estimates while they're being built. O_o

Not all our customers are savvy, however, the ones that have been using our services for some time, know how to access their portal... and typically when we tell them an estimate is on it's way... they'll go to the portal and await…

  3. Allow for unit price or rate five decimal places

For wire and pipe item/unit/rate amounts it is common to see these numbers: 1.31411 or 0.14327

For quantities over 20 feet or non-integers, 21.5 feet, the amounts come out incorrect, making the overall purchase order and resulting bill amount incorrect.

Try 45 feet at 1.31, then try 45 feet at 1.31411
add another item 45 feet at .14, then try 45 feet at .14327

add up the two columns and see the difference.

I propose allowing for up to five decimal places to the right on unit price.

  4. Link RepairShopr "PO Number" field to Xero "Reference" field

Linking the PO Number (RS) and Reference (Xero) fields would save a lot of double entry. Please. Thank you.

    Thanks again.

    You're the best!

  5. See Recurring Tickets appear as an Appointment in Calendar

We have several technicians in our company all of whom fields calls and set appointments throughout the day. We use the Calendar as to not double-book a technician for a given time/day. It would be good to have the recurring tickets to also have a recurring appointment on the calendar to eliminate confusion. Appreciated much!

  6. Option to Show Due Date on Invoices

I'd love to see the option or even the string to use in template - to put the Due Date on an invoice. This will help our customers know when they start incurring late fees in a clear cut manner.

  7. Integrate with Addigy Macmanage

Addigy is relatively new and they are incredible for Mac MSPs. It does much more than Gruntwork/Bluesky in a nice package. Please look at creating an integration with them. Thanks!

  8. Remove (empty) for records that have no contact name

having (empty) in customer records and calendar entries for appointments is a cosmetic faux pa. Can't we just have nothing there instead? so if a corporation is a big company and there is no specific name for a person we don't have things like Microsoft | (empty)

  9. Add Purchase Order Ship to address and lessen PO number size.

Currently Purchase orders do not have an area to add a ship to address? This is mandatory for all my vendors and I imagine almost every other RS users vendors.
For those of us that use QuickBooks, there is no RS purchase order integration. So, I need to duplicate the PO that RS generates into QuickBooks (big pain). RS auto generates a PO number that is too long to use in QuickBooks. So I need to change the RS generated number to something that will fit in QuickBooks. QuickBooks only allows 11 characters as their PO number. It just makes…

  10. Non-Taxable Labor Setting

Would be nice if we had a setting we can select for non-taxable labor on parts we install. California and other states don't charge tax on repair work. Instead of having to bundle every item in the inventory with an appropriate labor charge. Where we enter the cost of a product in out inventory, we can then put the total price for parts+labor, and the tax will only be applied to the cost of the part.

I.E. iPhone 6 screen, our cost is $40, sell to customer for parts and labor $125.

    Ticket would read:

    iPhone 6 Parts/Install ... $125…

  11. Capability to be able to void invoices created in error is definitely a must.

Even though we sync with Xero instead of Quickbooks we are still having the same issues with our accounting software Xero. We definitely need the capability to be able to "Void" invoices.

  13. Allow "CLASSES" on single accounts

We want to track the "new business" in QB's separately from our existing/core clientele. We thought the "Class" would be perfect, but it doesn't make sense for us to pay for the "Big Chain" account, as we only have the one location, but that doesn't mean we don't have a need for this feature.

  14. General notepad/to-do list on the home page.

I would really like to have an notepad for taking general notes and creating to-do lists, which is not assigned to a customer and without any due date. Just a place where I, as admin, can jot things down and delete them at will. Preferably it can be placed on the home page, right after or before the Reminders list.

  15. Ticket Charges - Created into Tasks

We would like the ability to convert ticket charges into assignments that technicians can checkoff as completed appropriately, essentially signed by the specific tech such as noted on custom worksheets created.

  16. Auto Email signed intake forms or email intake form button on iOS

We currently use an iPad setup for people to view and sign the intake form, it's only the best and smoothest way for the customer and customer service. It would be great if like "email signed receipt" button, there was also an "email intake form" button for easy sending of the invoice.

Either that or just have the system email an intake form as soon as it recognises a signature has been taken

I can't seem to find a way to do a bulk import of a new customer's assets. It would be nice to be able to do so, especially if you have client's with 50 desktops in an IT environment.

When a prepaid customer hits ZERO hours, I would like a way to run a report for them to show what tickets were assigned to those hours and how many hours each ticket used.

This is very important as customers need to know EXACTLY where their money is being spent.
