UPS and FedEx shipping integration
We might not be your typical client. We need to be able to ship repaired products back to the customer, so a shipping integration with the ability to import tracking info, and create prepaid return labels would be great!
The Shipstation integration was updated to allow users to make use of FedEx and UPS shipments to send back product to clients.

Would this be more promising if it was somehow integrated with WooCommerce shipping info and the label info only is sent to RS for a label print and attachment to ticket? Not sure how prepaid shipping to our location would work.

Does repairshopr have an API or other way to integrate with FedEx Ship Manager software? A customer is spending a lot of time copying/pasting.

For us, if a customer submits a lead and wants to ship their failed components to us, if that could be done at lead generation time so they could print a shipping label already filled out with our address and using our account, that would help.
Also, once we complete the repair we can then easily setup for return shipment. We are finding more of our customers prefer shipping items to us rather than other methods. -

This is a bit old and seems stale but I voted for getting some sort of intregration. I use USPS to ship phones back to customers, so right now I have a option on my site for customers to create a ticket, then once I receive it I will send them a canned response stating its been received and then in que for repair. Once its repaired, I will go to usps.com copy the return shipping address details from the customer page and then ship from the usps site, then input the tracking number from the other site into a canned repsonse for the customer to see going back to them. I would love to click "create shipping label" and it could pre-populate the info from the customer and give me an option to ship via UPS/FEDEX/USPS etc. I would love this!! do it troy!!

I'd love to see some integration between RepairShopr and ShipStation so orders marked as "to be shipped" or with some other flag would show up in ShipStation so you don't have to reenter all of the customers information. Then for it to send the tracking number and maybe even the cost back to RepairShopr as an invoice comment or something. ShipStation seems to be pretty open with integrations as I know my magento site can integrate so all orders show up directly in ShipStation.
I'd also be open to functionality that allows me to accomplish this through a zap as a start. I know ShipStation has functions that work with Zapier. I've talked to a few others that use RepairShopr for their mail in business and they've expressed interest in this functionality.
Thanks and keep up the great job with RepairShopr!

This is EXACTLY our situation! We just log onto FedEx and I copy and paste the info we have. Would love to have the address info customers enter into our woo commerce checkout upload to RepairShopr and have had issues doing so...after we repair I then have to manually enter into the FedEx Ship Manager (accessible via FedEx.com). The bulk of my time is spent taking customer contact info from WordPress/WooCommerce and typing into RepairShopr and then from RepairShopr into FedEx. If there is someone I might be able to speak to about the WooCommerce to RepairShopr details I would be thrilled! I am happy to provide whatever you need (even screenshots) to help with the FedEx piece. THANK YOU!!!!

Troy, if you guys aren't interested in writing the shipping system yourself, ShipStation is the best system out there I have used.

I would be happy with basic functionality such as the ability to paste a tracking number into a field on the respective form (PO, Invoice, Ticket) for example and then have the system generate the correct link to the respective shipping vendor. So I pick UPS as the shipping company and paste the tracking number. This becomes available to click on in the system or via the customer portal and perhaps can even be included on PDF invoices.

Ebay seller's shipping through paypal/usps system is amazing. If you have used that it is worth emulating.
I dont know if that code is available as a cloud service though. Worth checking with paypal/ebay.
Integration with a cloud service that handles multiplatform shipping and shipping discounts across usps and ups, etc would be awesome.

I would envision the process that eBay uses as not to recreate the wheel. I too have clients that send their devices and I ship them back. Being able to control shipping both ways would be an immense help and foster new business through ease of transaction... (Also add Paypal integration) :-)

We would love to use this to create return service labels (that could be emailed to the customer or printed and sent to the customer so they can return products for repair) or to ship repaired products back to the customer. I imagine this would be a cloud shipping service that pulls all of the valuable data from Repair Shopr and then writes back tracking info for us and the customer to view. At the same time, a thermal label (4x6) can be printed with info for ticket number and maybe another reference field that we can designate. Let me know if that helps Troy! Thanks for giving this some consideration.

@andre - I should clarify, we aren't going to build in any of that functionality - we are open to integrating to cloud/desktop software to handle all that though. If anyone has shipping software they like, and can speak to the experience/workflow of what kind of integration is desired - that would be super helpful!

would like to ship directly through usps or other shipping methods.
similar to the same way Ebay processes shipments. after the label is printed the customer is emailed tracking info etc -

What we have right now in the software we are trying to transition from is that each product has saved dimensions and weights. When setting up an order we can select a button to choose to ship to a customer and it will pull up the different package options and rates for the items on the invoice. Then it will add the appropriate charges to it, and then the software can print out a shipping label. Our software also has its own shipping section to be able to oversee and track the shipments.

Definitely need a shipping integration. We can add it to our online site with a Woocommerce addon but we really need to set up shipping directly through repairshopr for orders.

I'm a +1 on shipping integration. QuickBooks does it. Maybe RepairShopr should too? At the ver least, is there a plan to be able to print packing lists?

I have just signed up to Repair Shoppr and am trying to implement all of the essential functionality that our idiosyncratic aging custom-built system provides. I am amazed at how adaptable Repair Shopr is - incredible - fantastic system!
At times we might send 10-20 items per day so it is essential to have accurate tracking info for the occasional missing package. Despite all of its faults our current system does automatically prints and adhesive despatch UPS label and record tracking info to ours an UPS's system. This communicates with UPS via Worldship see: https://www.ups.com/content/gb/en/bussol/browse/worldship.html
Is there any likelyhood of this being integrating this into Repai Shopr in the near future? -

This would be a heck of a lot easier on the guys to integrate with ShipStation (my favorite) or Shiprush, or EasyShip, which are all valid. Pushing the shipping out like that means a heck of a lot less internal code I'm sure.
