Time Limits on Tickets so Techs cannot exceed time limit
The idea is that most shops that charge labor generally know how long a specific task should take. For example a 2 hour time limit on a ticket, that way if a task the employer knows only takes 2 hours cannot be exceeded without prior authorization.
A notification might now be enough, plus that way when multiple techs are working on something the collective totals cannot exceed a specified time limit. This would be useful for any shop that charges Labor and knows how long things should take unless there is a larger problem that requires approval.9 votes -

Contract override pricing
We are using the contract override feature and it works great. With one customer though we have them set at a higher rate than standard, but it displays as discounts as per contract. Any way to edit this template wording

Add the option for per-technician email signatures
It would be nice to have the option to add a customized HTML signature to email communications to customers on a per-technician basis (each technician could have their own signature that appears at the end of emails they send from inside Shopr).

Have the option to enter time in 24 hour (military) format
I think it would be more efficent to be able to enter time in 24 hour format instead of AM/PM. I don't think it needs to be displayed that way, but it would make entering time faster.
<rant>
I tab and type a lot and there are many areas where RS does weird things but the labor log is the worst. It would be more natural to type 1700 [tab] 1730 {tab} description, than 0500p {tab} 0530p {click in the description box because if you don then the stupid time picker stays up, and never hit shift tab because then…

Display service location on invoices
We have customers that have multiple service locations. We have entered these as additional locations in RepairShopr. On the invoice, the customer would like to see which site the service was performed at in the case of onsite appointments. If there was a field called "service location" we could include on the invoice that would make this fairly easy. We would also want to have the ability to use a specific invoice template for each customer, so that we did not have to display "service location" info for customers that did not have multiple locations.

Give the ability to change due date from main ticket screen
Give the ability to change due date from main ticket screen. It would be nice to be able to change the due date on the main ticket screen ( like we are able on the status) instead of having to open ticket and edit due date and save it.

Have customer sign off on estimates
Many of our client like the idea of seeing how much a job will be.(hence estimates) But some come back and say we didn't say it would cost that much. UGH! Intake form has a way to sign off. but doesn't include cost. What about having the Estimates signed (on screen) as well. That way client knows upfront what cost are, as they signed off on it. yea

Stop reformatting (rehashing) URLs in ticket comments
I sent my customer a ticket reply with a URL to a web site in it. The link was copied straight from my browser, but when the customer received the ticket comment email they called me to ask what I was sending them and if it was safe, because mousing over the link showed that it was taking them to this page, which looks like nothing to do with the original link I pasted, and actually looked like this :
In this day of ransomware etc I encourage all my customers to be cautious, and to see the above…

The ability to see if a ticket comment was emailed to the customer or not
After a comment has been added to an individual ticket, there is no way of knowing if the actual comment was emailed or not.
It would be handy if there was a way of checking after the fact if the customer was contacted.

Add rolls of coins to register count, give admins ability to edit a drawer after the opening count has been completed
A few things I would like to see happen. The two changes I have not seen posted are below:
1) Ability to count a roll of coins in the opening and closing count
2) Make the "Enter" key go to the next field as opposed to clicking the button at the bottom. (many times my employee's have put in 30 cents and hit enter only to open the draw at 30 cents)
3) Give admins the ability to go back and view/edit a draw that is open. (this way if someone opens the drawer with an incorrect amount, we can…8 votes -
Email Track PDF
I would like to suggest the Idea for Emailing to customer.
The idea is when we send Estimate or Invoice email send it to the Customer pdf. Would let us know if the customer read the email or not. Like a Tracking Viewed or not Viewed email.
Like other Program that Called "manager.io" when you send email if the customer view the email, will mark to us as "viewed". If the customer didn't view yet, will mark as "Not Viewed".That a good idea for us to know if the customer is active or not.
Thank You

Option to generate/print Despatch Notes
We have invoices for inventory that we would be sending to some of our customers and they wouldn't want the invoice sent with the order / seen by their employees etc. It would be nice to be able to print a Despatch Note (basically the invoice without the amounts on it).

Single Use / One-Time Use - UNIQUE Inventory Module - PARTS
[This was previously a sub-feature of a topic that was recently marked as Completed]
This idea is really the “in between” of Inventory (parts you regularly keep in stock/track) and Logistics (parts that you special order on demand). It’s perfect for all the miscellaneous parts/accessories/components you have on hand (and want to sell), but never plan to keep a regular stock of. You want to have them in the RS system for sale, but you don’t want them mixed up with regular inventory you keep a steady stock of. This would work hand-in-hand with anything entered as a “Customer Purchase”,…

Integrate with todoist
We use todoist as a general office task management system, and I think it would be pretty slick to have repair shoppr populate new tickets on an "unassigned" project on todoist, and have our managers assign these tasks daily. That way, even people who don't use repair shoppr and just want to get a quick glance at who is doing what can quickly see how swamped/open our technicians are, and can move around other tasks accordingly.
