Make parts ordered a column on the tickets page.
Make a column for parts ordered, so once a part is ordered it will be marked and once the part comes it can show that it has arrived.
This will also help if a part is needed to be ordered for a customer we can see that it was ordered or that it needs to ordered so we are not going through different pages to see that.2 votes -
Purchase order number & Supplier Dropdown list of suppliers when ordering a spare part
We buy a lot of one off parts from the same supplier(s) for laptops e.g. screen hinges, plastics, keyboards etc for customer repairs, but when it comes to the accounts team reconciling the parts purchases, it wastes time because they dont know where we bought them from or what purchase order number was used to buy them. Can these be added? or if these 2 fields cant be added then maybe a better idea would be to tag a customers ticket id to a line purchase in the Purchase Order system.
Or maybe suggest another way.

Sort assests by column
Have the ability to sort assests by columns. I.e. sort by type, name, serial number, location etc.

Add sort-by-column to the payment reports.
On reports > payments, there is little or no sense to the list order, and no way to sort it. Also, there is no way to set a filter.

Assign tech to part orders when they are placed on the ticket.
Currently an employee has to look over every part order after it has been invoiced and assign the tech that placed the part order so they can receive credit for it. It would be nice if this was automatically done when the part order is placed. Also this way if there is an issue with the order it is clear who placed it.

When an estimate is approved send contents to attached ticket
When you are working on a job, then need to send an estimate. The parts on the estimate should be added to the ticket charges when the estimate is approved. Currently it only goes to a new invoice. Thats fine for when an estimate it created outside of a ticket, like quoting new PC or for some work.
But, when you have already done some billable time on a ticket or added parts and something outside of scope of the ticket comes up a new estimate is created from the ticket.

Could we have the option to show Tech first name, on ticket comment emails, its less formal!

Country field and attachment for Vendors (+ Printing address Label)
It would be handy to have a field on the Vendor sheet for their country address.
It would also be nice to be able to attach files to their profile for example their terms and conditions, warranty policy, etc.
Printing their address label for return would also be a huge plus.

Change the color of the Worksheet Tab -like the Leads notification color.
When on a ticket it is not noticeably visible that there is a worksheet to modify. Not every ticket needs a worksheet, but when they are added it would be great to have them visually pop at least a little bit. With the grey number that is used it just blends into the background

Create a time entry approval workflow
I like review all my tech's time before invoicing. In my inhouse-built ticket system from which we're migrating to RS, I am able to review on a client-by-client basis all time submitted by all techs. I can edit the time entry descriptions to correct typos or otherwise improve the presentation to the client; I can correct the billable rate; I can adjust the amount of time to be billed; I can make some entries non-billable, particularly if the work of multiple techs on a project needed to be merged into one entry.
RS has no equivalent time entry review process.…

Institute field consistency (esp. customer/business name) in report CSV files
The two specific reports I reference are tech hours and pending ticket charges. You can't easily do a sort and cross-reference, because the pending ticket charges CSV has three fields: first name, last name and business name, whereas the tech hours CSV has a single field, Customer Name, which is first name and last name concatenated, and no field for business name.

Simplified Ticket URLs
As seen on the Dashboard, /t/(ticketnumber) already takes you to the ticket number specified, but the URL is redirected to /ticket/(randomnumber) when you go to the page. If the default URL on the ticket page were /t/(ticketnumber) it would greatly help communication. You would be able to copy/paste the URL and be able to see the actual ticket number without opening the ticket.

System wide SMS Template
Some of SMS's sent from tickets have a template based on contact issue type and some don't.
If we send an SMS using an issue type without a template the message goes out without any link to our business.
So, I suggest you allow template that is applied to all SMS's sent from the system. For example, I'd like to add to all SMS's sent from us "Hello from MacMan"

Ability to add images to a bundled item
I'd like to see the option to add an image to a bundle item.
For my business, bundles are the item being sold, we generally don't sell the component parts separately, so to be able to quickly visualise the bundled items would be great.

remove/hide related ticket comments from the invoice page

I'd like to use an iPad to have our customers sign the invoices but don't want them to accidentally see the private comments on tickets.

Add the Transaction response code from a payment to the Quickbooks Payment reference no. field.
When using QuickBooks online the payments from RS get moved over to QBO as expected. Then when the payment is deposited we can match the payments to the deposit and reconcile the account. However there have been times that payment did not sync or we have payment but no deposit etc. Having the credit card "transaction response code", check number, etc populate the QB payment "reference no." field would be great help. They data makes looking up transactions easier.

Send customer returns to refurb module
I would like to be able to take a product returned by a customer (not purchased from customer-a return recorded on an invoice and credit issued or refunded) and to fix aka"refurb" the product and offer for sale again.
Currently I can find no way to send it to the refurb module to record work done on it before putting back into inventory. It seems my only options are to return it to inventory or send back to vendor?
In reality - we do rentals and this would be for our returned rentals before putting back into rental inventory.

PAID stamp in green on {{invoice_paid_stamp}}
Green PAID stamp on paid invoices will look more intuitive than a current red one. Green colour naturally means "yes", "success", "approved", "passed" while red means "no", "error", "disapproved", "failed". Some of my customers were a bit confused with a red PAID stamp when they've received a paid invoice.

Add Year to "Created" for Returns and RMAs
Please add the year the Return or RMA was created. The "CREATED" filter is not as helpful as it could be if you added the year.
