An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedAdding the ability to connect these parts to your choice of item form the inventory list, like defining that all parts would connect to the "products Purchases" in Xero so they get managed properly vs every thing going to misc. would be nice. The lack of control here makes for extra bookwork every month.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedI agree there needs ot be some work but I don't like the idea of automatically using those statuses, we use our own status options for in-house tickets, if we could set which status it would change to that would be great but I wouldn't be a fan of a predefined thing. To many people using status in their own way to lock it in.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedA few more that might be nice are
Allow access to IOS App, (if off would not be able to use iOS app at all)
Allow access to RSr outside office hours, (would have to define hours)
Allow access outside a set IP address by tech, (so some techs could see RSr outside the office and some techs would never has access outside the office at all. And to define what hours it would be available even to those that can see it outside the office.) Currently is it all or none and that doesn't work well.
Can access RMM alerts
Can access CC info and add / remove CCs
Access to invoice list - currently it is wide open. They can see everything for the last 30 days. It would be nice if we could set the number of days back they could see invoices in that list. We can always go to the customer file to look things up but having a list wide open is a little bit of a security risk.
Allow to view / list clients in list view. (No reason for bench techs to have access to a list of clients names in a simple printable or screen shotable list. It is ok to search one at a time when needed to create tickets etc but no reason to go to customers and view a list. This should be a restrict-able. this should include the app, no one should be able to view all the customers in the list via the app unless they have the permission to do so.
More options for restrictive permissions would be good. Business owners need to protect their client lists.
Allow access to VIEW tabs, it would be nice if clients didn't have permission to access what is behind a tab, like DOMO or Purchase orders that they also couldn't see the tab in the first place. Security though obscurity.
Thanks for looking at all these, security is a big area that needs some attention.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedGood comment Eric, please see my post on iOS security which I feel you may be interested as well.
We'd like to see the ability to have different pages in the wiki available to different levels of users as well. We like to use the wiki as a place for how to's, but the how to's for the office manger and the how to's for the accountant are different and may contain confidential information.

It would look nice. Not needed for function but icing on the cake for sure. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedIt would also be nice to be able to create a saved set of reports that we could view under one menu for doing in office presentations or when working with vendors. This way we can go right to what we want to share in the formate we want to share it without incidentally coming across data that might not be for public eyes.
Several of the MSP metric might fall into this grouping. Showing ticket solved and times in a staff meeting without showing $$ values. That should be a quick filter option, check the box to hide totals for $$

All so true, it would be very nice to manage those RMM alerts better. Such as being able to apply macros to the WM alerts so we could automate more.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedGreet idea. Like parts but with the ability to use a PO. This could be expanded a bit as well, it would be nice to create a PO for items that don't go into inventory, items that are ordered for client projects and as you suggested able to connect with a client or maybe that estimate. There is a big hole in the PO system, there is no way to write a PO for non-inventory items and the parts ordering system is way to simple for those needed.

We would like to do this! Just need to find the right support for it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedThere is a company in Minneapolis area, The Bernard Group, that would have the ability to take the PDF sent to them and a mailing list and send out postcards. I have Several contact here I could get you in touch with some of the right folks to connect with if you were interested in this kind of thing.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedWe run in to this everyday as well. our clients really struggle keeping up with the tickets, there is no context on there end and they often send several message in for the wrong tickets because they only see the comment we made and not necessary the thread. Maybe the fix for this is to clean up the subject line and have a simple link at the bottom of the email "show entire thread" to allow clients to use that to get the context before replying. This may have been updated since I last checked what the clients where seeing but we have had a lot of trouble especially when clients have several tickets open. The portal is nice but you know how it goes...you can lead a client to the data but....you can't make them use it it. Like Steve Jobs always said if you make it so simple a 6 year old could figure it out you were on to something.......
I really love this over all but it needs just a few tweaks to go from good to great.
Thanks

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedIt would be nice to be able to have a system setup to auto mail clients who have unpaid invoices, then you could setup a 30, 60, 90 day Collections letter kind of thing. We started using Marketr and found the things we wanted to search for also not easily accomplished but the Marketr system is s a great idea. We are just waiting for updates/tweaks to make it more functional for us. This has some real potential once we can pull out the things we want to create groups to send too.

Better control on how they are listed so we can choose how to sort them. Looking at one big list just isn't manageable. Better notification to the client when a bill is coming due and a receipt when the CC or payment is processed all automatically, with options of when to send such as number of days before or after transaction.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedIt would also be nice for Recurring invoices to be able to be grouped. Defined by us not the three options we have. This would be for sorting and such.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedThis is actually a great idea. We've found a few employee doing something like that. Selling an item below the the price we have set. This is that typical "I need to get a manger" to over ride a price. If I had more votes I give this one.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedMaybe not the same issue but it would be nice to see the expiration by default and the last 4 without having to manually enter anything. This comes up a lot and we have no way to verify which card the client has given us.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tim Nyberg commentedI think the tick that is under Review is the same topic "LEADS Module OVERHAUL - UPGRADE Inboxr and UNIFY Features"
Same stuff.....separate the ticket filtering system called leads and make a new system for Sales focused totally on sales functions, call backs, sales appointments, follow ups, referrals, postcard mailings, etc.. totally separate list then the names in the current system that are already clients.
