Allow customers to customize labels
So I feel stupid for posting this because I am sure someone is going to tell me that it is already possible, but I have searched and been unable to find it.
Through the DYMO Software you can create custom labels and even save them and open them using a text editor to upload. I used software similar but inferior to reapirshopr previously that had this abillity.
I could design my own label filling in the fields similar to how the emails are done, then it would print my labels with my logo, or whatever I wanted. I would really like to change the design.
Today we released an update to RS introducing the ability to Customize Labels. More info at the link below.

The final updates released and considered “completed” in August 2021 are nothing more than lackluster, by vote in consideration of users on the platform, speaking on the Facebook support group for the past several months. Developers continue to ignore ongoing requests, and nothing more will ever seem to come with customized labels. Very big let down considering this was announced as part of three major updates that were supposed to be valuable. Super sad!

Any progress on this request?

can we get an update on this suggestion? It's clearly been ignored for too long, seeing as there are a lot of votes on this feature.

An update on this would be great.

It says planned in 2016. I assume you haven't updated your post over the alternative, its been 3 years and its still not done. Where do I find these?

Am hanging for this , even just putting the date of ticket creation on the label will help. logo customising and possibly asset serial to add on aswell. customising these ticket labels will do a world of good for most businesses using RS im certain

Please reconsider the implementing this request as matter of urgency. We have been using branded ticket labels as part of our brand building, and customer retention, with great results over the last 19 years and therefor do not consider this feature as “an optional extra”.
Typical feedback from new and/or returning customers, as a result of this - "I saw your contact details on my friends "xx component" or I lost your contact details but then remembered your label on "xx component".We currently reduce the size of the ticket label to 25 x 54mm in order to have compromise between workability and legibility resulting in poor print quality and illegible text = a shoddy unprofessional looking ticket label.
We overcome this by printing a second branded label, using another application, adding to extra work (duplication) and clutter. The primary issues with the current label is (1) size and (2) the information included. Starting with the option to remove some of the info e.g. the logo, contact details and description will already make a difference.

@troy
to answer your question...
yes, we can scan bar codes and upc codes, however, presently, it appears that can only be printed on a 1 1/8 x 3.5 label.
In my cell phone repair store, we have huge need for much smaller labels. Ideally, a small 1x2 or even smaller. Would be used for pricing on everything we have to sell and would contain a scannable upc code, a very short description of the product (e.g. IPH 8, otterbox, black) and a price.
For the back of the house, these smaller labels would be used to label every single piece of inventory that comes in.
Presently, we are using a sharpie and writing on the packaging of every screen (and microscopic part in a bag (like a tiny iphone camera) the date of arrival, which supplier it came from and what the part is. Needless to say, this is very time consuming.
A small printable label would solve all of this.
In the repairshopr inventory module, there are two options to print inventory or price labels, but they are both printing on giant labels. The sheer expense of trying to use these labels on everything would be ridiculous. And, let's be real, in a cell phone store, there are many items for sale and inventory that just don't have the real estate to put a giant sticker on them.
I understand that repairshopr was created for computer repair stores, not phone stores. However, you are definitely marketing to phone repair stores now.... and you have a lot of competition.
I would hope something as simple as this could be rolled out quickly... as it appears it's been being asked for since 2014!!!
RepairQ, IQ metrix and many others are calling weekly. I've been very loyal to Repairshopr... however after my first and only support request in over 2 years of being a customer and basically being told to figure it out on my own... and patiently waiting for this label adjustment to land (going on two years since you said it's planned)... I have to admit I'm considering looking elsewhere. I thought maybe I was being 'needy' by wanting the label options... but with 35 other comments and 130 votes (!!!!!)... i realize what I want isn't unique at all.Hope this helps.

I am desperate for this feature!! Many of the parts we stock that need labelled have names that are longer than what the label will print. Yes you can scan the barcode to check but it would be good to be able to read what's in the box too without having to do that.

Everyone wants this can't you just add the feature. Louis rossmann asks for stuff and you just add it. Make it happen or I can't use this software. I'm currently using pirated software from the early 2000s that does it perfectly

Same here for product labels, we currently have Zebra printers and use 50mm x 25mm labels. If we could just be able to have that as a size option it would be a good start but I would love to have the ability to select the fields and layout of the product label. This is one of a couple of blockers preventing us from adopting RepairShopr proper.

Hi All,
just like to add that with the customer barcode label it would be very useful to have the customer name on the label too, this would save scanning a label to confirm who the customer is many thanks. -

@james - how does a custom label help your situation? Can't you just add your existing UPC from the existing products into the Product in RS? (that makes them scannable)

James White commented
Is there any way we could make this a priority? Please? we have over 500 products in store... no way to label them. Name your bribe the team wants, we will volunteer to pay it. Pretty please?

Any new updates about customisation (few templates) ticket labels ?
In my case logo is tiny and barely visible.
Could you do something with that ? -
Jared Hearn commented
Yes, we are in the same boat as most others. The customer ticket is fine, but printing price tags on these massive lables, that you still have to squint to read the price on is just not working.
Surely its not that hard to have 5 preset templates on a few different sticker sizes.
Hope this happens soon. Loving the software besides this. -
James White commented
Anything? We are looking into being forced to purchase an entire separate POS/Inventory SaaS just to have the ability to use price tags on items.

Any progression on this. The ability for us to print a customer password on the label would be brilliant. Would save a lot of hassle for us, and I am sure this applies to many in the IT trade

I have the exact issue that my text isn't customizable and is too small to be legible for both me and the customer. i also would like to be able to place my business loxo on there as well. my competition does it, so i know that it can be done.

Coming from many years in retail, this is a great idea! I don't think a customization tool should be enabled, but 3-5 different layouts that Repairshopr chooses that we could choose from.
