Finished Products associated to Inventory
I'd like a "Product" option that had finished products made up of multiple inventory items. I have a repair shop but sometimes the customer wants to replace the whole unit rather than do a repair. I'd like to be able to quote a complete product to the customer rather than list every component for a quote. If I could associate all the parts into a product, then when I build one, it would remove the quantity of components associated to that build. These products would not remove items from inventory until the product is tagged as "Built". This same option…

add a report for "Customers by Spend"
In all of the reports one that might not be entirely necessary but could be nice, would be, "Customer(s) by Spend"
meaning, compile a list showing all of our customers and in short dollar figures the associated revenue, expense and maybe even ticket/invoice count or when their account was created.
it might not be the most important report, but, it could help MSP's or even residential break-fix guys assess who their best clients are by margin or by how high or low maintenance they are. Could help visualize in a way some of the clients who just might need to…

Parts orders dependant on estimate status

Recurring charges and one time charges
Not sure if this has been brought up before but...the ability to separate one time charges and recurring charges on estimates would be great. That way when we set up long-term orders with one time fees, the customer gets a clear picture of what they are paying today, and on a monthly/annual basis. Also when its time to convert it to an invoice, the system being able to make the one time invoice and establish the recurring invoice would be great but...one step at a time I presume. ENHANCE Recurring Schedules with GLOBAL ADMIN Options
These are relevant, simple and necessary adjustments for Settings>Invoices>Recurring Invoices:
- Replace link Admin>Invoices>Recurring with an actual settings page for recurring schedules (rather than just a link to all current schedules).
- Enable a global override setting for ALL recurring schedules to “Auto retry credit card when payment fails”. (We want this on for ALL payments!)
- Add global enable/disable controls for “Customer management of payment options”: View cards, Add a card, Delete a card, Rename a card, etc.
- Enable “Auto charge CC on file” to automatically default to the first/any CC on file. (There’s no point in selecting auto charge to TRUE…

Make the barcode field the default field in the Invoice screen
...just like in the POS window. Presently there is no default field - by making the barcode the default field a barcode scanner can be used to rapidly assemble a complicated invoice without having to constantly put the cursor into that field to activate it - it makes invoice creation much more time consuming than it needs to be.
I don't think there's any downside to making this the default field either... though I may be corrected on this point...3 votes -

Colored due dates on the ticket's page
I love the color coded due dates on the active tickets window and think it would be great to see this system on the actual ticket's page as well (where the comments and the time tracker module is). So that when you see the due date on the ticket page, it gives you an indication of if the project is past due or not.

Convert an estimate to the linked ticket
It's nice to be able to convert an estimate to a ticket, but then having to create a new ticket just to merge it is not very time or user friendly. Converting straight to invoice isn't always useful either.

Change Home (Accounts) to Dashboard in page title
When loading my account, it brings me to the home screen. But the home screen is titled "Accounts." I'd rather it be titled "Dashboard" or "Home" to make it easier to navigate and hold the place when multiple tabs are open.

Each Estimate it's own Red/Green Approval Color
Please consider giving each estimate it's own red/green color.
Right now, if one ticket has 3 estimates, and only 1 estimate is approved, it looks like all 3 estimates are approved, because the entire bar is green.

Beta Needs Multiple Estimates Listed on Ticket
In the Beta version, estimates on a specific ticket show up as a bubble when the mouse cursor hovers over the word "linked", but you can't click on each individual estimate - it only clicks on one if you click the bubble.

Tickets "Grouped By" only sorting every 100 tickets
Please change the Tickets window to sort "Grouped By" filtering for ALL TOTAL tickets, not just what is on the first page. For example, if there are 300 tickets in the system, and you Group By Priority, it doesn't show all High Priority first, it shows only for each individual page of 100 tickets.

Ability to download cash register data (z-reports) to CSV
There are 2 major issues with the z-reports when trying to manage the bookkeeping side of the Cash Register, and it would be much appreciated if you could address them:
The information/data from the daily z-reports are not downloadable into a usable CSV file
There is nothing in the z-report that compares the previous day’s closing balance with the next day's opening balance, so there are no red flags (variances) on the z-reports if there is a discrepancy between days.

Because the daily report is essentially a printable receipt, every piece of information (sales, refunds, balances, etc.)…

I would love the ability to merge multiple invoices from one ticket together, instead of sending the client a "crap load" of invoices for one job. This would be so gr8!
