using a new payment method will not work as it will throw off the sales tax report. I dont think they are interested in changing any core features. Everything we have seen over the past year and a half has been little tweaks.

This is the worst way to recoop fees. You pay fees for everything, Power to run your shop, repairshopr to manage your paperwork, credit card processor to manage money. Build it into your pricing model.

I somewhat agree, there is a lot of wasted space at the top. Maybe a better approach would be to make the blocks on the ticket and invoice screens repositionable. That way anyone can set up above the fold that is most important to them.

Also adding the ability to use our own custom domain, just a simple CNAME record RS.MyDomain.com

It also has to do with preventing emails from going to spam. When links in an email match the domain sending the email it reduces the spam score a lot. Shorter Hashes or even readable redirct links like: `http://reply.repairshopr.com/wf/click?ORIGINALURL.COM` might be a better solution to maintain deliver-ability.

This thread seems to be talking about different things – so I need to get clarification if possible.

When you comment on this thread please state if you want “gift certificate support”, meaning a template to print them or something, and maybe a way to track the balance – OR -

“gift card support via Vantiv” where you have to buy magstripe cards with your design, have a Vantiv account, and deal with loading / checking balances / and the regulation that goes along with being required to allow people to cash out/etc.

We can refer to these as “basic gift certificates” or “magstripe gift cards” in the comments.

Feel free to say you want both! :)

The Vantiv “gift card support” is a fairly large project that we would need to see a lot of votes to get going.

A basic gift certificate tracking system might be simpler and…

Basic support would be great. If set up properly mag-stripe cards could be used as well as printed certificates. Same would work great for store credits also.

All of the PBX solutions so far invoolve the PBX software having the ability to lookup caller id from an API. RepairShopr assumes when you preform a lookup with the API that a call is incoming (Unless the outgoing flag is true) and handels the logging while sending the customer details back to the PBX as a simple string.

3CX does not have the ability directly however by using wget as a URL agent for 3CX it looks like it might be possible to at least get one direction of the intergration working. Meaning RepairShopr will keep a record and show notifications of calls. I can not say for sure yet if we can get our local caller ID to show on the PBX/Phones yet, I am looking into that now.

Can I ask how you have sorted the Mapping? I have a simular issue, not daily but quarterly from about 12 suppliers each with a different format price list?

Updates should be able to be processed by UPC.
