3CX Integration
3CX is becoming quite a widely used PBX, to have integration for call logs etc would be great.

Been 6 years or so. Wish this was a basic easy to setup thing at this point.

Hi, is there any news on this?

Syncro doesn’t have a feedback portal so here we go. 3CX custom crm plugin works...somewhat. It does a lookup on the customer api and stores as a contact to the phone book so callerid works server side.
But just like other pbxs it is majorly held back by contacts not being included in api customers query. Incoming and outgoing calls are logged. But not for contacts arrregh!

All of the PBX solutions so far invoolve the PBX software having the ability to lookup caller id from an API. RepairShopr assumes when you preform a lookup with the API that a call is incoming (Unless the outgoing flag is true) and handels the logging while sending the customer details back to the PBX as a simple string.
3CX does not have the ability directly however by using wget as a URL agent for 3CX it looks like it might be possible to at least get one direction of the intergration working. Meaning RepairShopr will keep a record and show notifications of calls. I can not say for sure yet if we can get our local caller ID to show on the PBX/Phones yet, I am looking into that now.

I believe this is now solved according to the updated KB:
https://feedback.repairshopr.com/knowledgebase/articles/254824-pbx-integrationPlease correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm in the process of testing a migration of our PBX from Elastix to 3CX this week!

This should be substantially easier now that 3cx has released their API , since they have a few months ago so many things are integrating with it. Could RS look at this again please - we are happy share any resources we have with RS in terms of access to 3CX

Been under review for 2+ years, any updates here?

This is a no-brainer, 3cx is massive worldwide. We use it a lot now, I was surprised how old this request is and no change especially as the api is published.

Yes, any updates to this??

Any updates on this? It would be HUGE for our company, and the companies we have referred repairshopr too (some of which are big chains)

I have voted in 3cx to ask for the URL lookup addition. https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/caller-id-lookup-source-http.48804/

Our position is the same, we don't have a developer that can work on it and don't have time to go look for one. If anybody knows someone please have them write us or send an intro email. For now this is just blocked on needing a developer.

Heads up beautiful people!
PBX in a flash has merged - or packaged the 3CX technology.
I was going about looking to create an amazon/cloud instance as I don't like the stress of self hosting our Freepbx box...and I found this:
It allows you to simply create a 3CX instance on a few providers (I chose amazon) in a matter of clicks. I haven't tested the performance yet but it looks nice...and will cost like $10 a month if that.
So now the latest PBX in a flash doesn't have HTTP lookup - maybe it's time to add 3CX?
It supports O365 contacts integration amongst quite a few others

Just checking out 3cx now. looks more polished than freepbx but not sure if it supports http lookup source? But does have much better integration as a whole with crm integrations readily available!
