Z-report
We would like the ability to have a record of every Z-report and be able to print them. Also, have an option to sort by month to month.

Allow Customer Purchases to be added as existing Inventory Items
Okay, this is very hard to explain, but the idea is simple. It's very unhelpful adding more and more NEW inventory items, rather than just increasing the Quantity On Hand when purchasing from a customer. We would like the ability to choose an existing Inventory Item and record a unique description and purchase price just like a serialized item.
How it works now:
We purchase a laptop from a customer for $120 that we plan to sell for $250. Let's just say it's in perfect condition to avoid the refurbishing process. We give it a name to lookup in inventory,…7 votesThis is live! We just updated the Customer Purchase model to search your inventory right when you’re buying something. Adding an item adds it to your existing inventory item now. (Note that we’re still updating the audit logs on the product page..)

Add sequence numbers to the ticket/customer tabs
I think it would be very helpful to have sequence numbers on some of the tabs, numbered from '1' (obviously) at the top, regardless of which filters are used.
Basically, it would be ideal if i was to, for example, open the tickets tab, and set the filters to display every new ticket for a specific technician. If there were sequence numbers, I could then quickly scroll to the bottom of the page and see how many new tickets that technician has in total.
It would give me better oversight on what's going on, allowing me to quickly check things…
1 voteWe added ticket counts to our filters so hopefully this provides something similar.

Do not Generate $0 Recurring Invoices
I have some blank recurring invoices that I use to invoice any time not billed to customers on tickets. Some months I do not have any time to bill a customer, but the recurring invoice sends them a $0 invoice that I have to explain to ignore and then I have to delete or "pay" to get it to not bug the customer of an open invoice.
A simple check of if invoice total is equal to $0, do not generate for that recurring period.19 votesWe made changes to the system recently that will make all new Recurring Invoices not generate $0 dollar invoices by default. There is a toggle in the Recurring Template now that can make it so blank invoices would generate if you wanted.

Hide Disabled Items on Stockout (low inventory) Report
Currently on the Stockout (low inventory) page (https://mss.repairshopr.com/administration/stockout) it lists all items low in stock. It would be nice if there was a way to hide disabled items. This could go in tandem with the idea to have a column for purchase orders. Maybe up at the top have some check marks for items disabled, items on purchase order, etc.

Have the Leads module call up (look up) from the exsisting customers list from Name or Phone.
So with a couple thousand existing contacts having been imported, a majority were missing EMAILS... as we had not religiously collected emails in the past. So 90% of our existing customer/contacts who are 'emailing' us are being sent to the LEADS module.
Which is fine, however, in order to have RS recognize that this customer/contact is already in the system, the email, phone, etc have to be the same. Otherwise, it's a unknown contact which has to be manually processed.
So... It would be great, being that these contacts are likely already in RS, to have the NAME field (or…

Payment taking process
Hi,
We take payments onsite, and do invoicing/receipting after job has been completed. I am having an issue with the process, after doing an offline CC payment and applying, it gives me the option to close ticket and continue. That is great, however, I would like the ability to go back to the invoice so I can send a paid receipt to the customer without having to dig for it.
This workflow may suit better;
Generate invoice > apply payment > OPTION TO EMAIL/SNAILMAIL > close ticket6 votesThis should be working as requested now.

Appointment Types - Remote, In Shop, Virtual
It would be nice to have an option when setting up an appointment for field jobs or onsite jobs and remote or phone appointments. I have changed the email templates to say appointment in stead of field job to limit confusion for customers who have remote access appointments- but when the appointment is created ALL appointments receive the same confirmation email that auto fills the customers address- this is awesome in the event that we are going on location they can know- but if we are scheduling a phone appointment or remote access meeting then this confuses the customer.

Check out the appointment types stuff, there isn’t a help page on it yet – but check out Admin → Appointment Types
You can put custom instructions per type, like, for the Phone type you could put your standard conference call info, or shop phone, etc.
For Remote Support you could put your teamviewer instructions, etc.
Feel free to comment if you need more!

Link tickets to invoices in customer profile view
Our customers should be able to view in their profile which ticket the invoice they are looking at corresponds to. ESPECIALLY since we don't have the ability to place customer facing notes on the invoice (only tech view notes as far as I can tell.) Which leads to my next suggestion. PLEASE give us the ability to place customer facing notes on the invoices. I'm tired of them calling and asking what on-site work was done because it's not noted on the invoice. It's on the tickets obviously, but the accounts payable people rarely see that at most of our…

Fix Purchase Order System
The purchase order system as it relates to auto-populating the low stock items from a particular vendor does not work in a way that is useful. Right now when you create an item you put in the desired stock and the reorder amount. When the purchase order is made in the manner listed above it simply orders the entire desired stock amount when your reorder amount amount matches.
For example: We have two screens in stock but our desired stock is 5 and our reorder amount is at 2. The system now will just order 5 more but it would…

Allow different reorder points for different locations
I have multiple stores and each of the three need different amounts of inventory at each location. There needs to be an option to have different reorder points for each location.

Make a seperate "tab" for Puchases
Okay, this is one big feature that we currently are using random work-around's for; and I hate it.
We buy laptops and equipment from customers all the time. They may have a bad HDD and don't want to spend $100 to fix it, but gladly take $50 for the dead machine and it's worth $300 fixed up. Otherwise, if they abandon their property for 60 days - it's ours. The issue is, we have no way to track, process or pay for "customer purchases".
I know there is a basic "allow purchasing from the public" feature, but that barely scratches…
39 votesWith our new “add to existing” feature for Customer Purchases, the new Category system, and the new Customer Purchases tab, we’re going to mark this as complete. There are a few additional items on this request that we’d love to do as well (e.g., a specific one time use type item) so feel free to break these out as new requests.

Add assets to an existing ticket
In the Ticket window, there is now simple way to add an Asset to the ticket. We use serial numbers to track everything we do in our shop, and sometimes you can't get the serial number because the device won't power on, etc until the diagnosis is complete - at which point we would like to be able to add the device to the customer's asset list and assign it to the ticket. Once a ticket is open, I don't see any way to add an asset.
1 voteThis should work from the ticket edit page, under “Change” – contact support if it doesn’t.

Adding parts to customer purchases
It would be nice to add parts to customer purchases for items that are in need of refurbishing/repair prior to being put up for sale. This would automatically remove item from inventory and add to the cost of the device/equipment purchased. Currently I place notes stating to remember that the cost is higher than marked and I ring out items under a "Parts used for store repairs" customer at a $0 price so that it removes from inventory yet still accounts in my P&L

Improve features for MSP's
What other features for MSP's can we expect in the future?
Subscription based product support would be fantastic eg 12-Months Unlimited HelDesk, 12-Months Managed Backup, 12-Months Managed Antivirus etc.
Putting this info under Warranty is the only work around ATM. It however doesn't allow you to quickly see what client is eligible for unless you search
invoice history.12 votesI think showing the recurring invoices on the customer page is going to mark this as complete, submit another idea or comment here if we missed something!
