Integrate with GSX, and TechDirect
It would be cool to have the asset creator automatically fetch the information on the machine by just the Serial number of the computer, so for an Apple computer it would be with GSX, and Dell would be with TechDirect, or any other sort of API! Cool thought. I know GSX has an API, not %100 of TechDirect.
We are seriously considering this, potentially could get looked at closer this summer. Nothing imminent, but we are interested.

Yes, as an AASP, would love to see GSX integration as well.

If you could fully integrate with the GSX APIs we would sign on immediately.

Full GSX integration would make my store switch to repairshopr

There is a new REST API for the newly released "Appointment Scheduler" for AASP's. It would be super cool if we could get GSX customer appointments going direct to RS :)

Consider this another vote from a UK based AASP - GSX integration would be incredible for us.

There should be some clarification in the request being made of RepairShopr.
Warranty Status is one level.
Repair/Part look up is yet another.
Actual GSX repair management via an external tool is another level of integration entirely. -

Jason Schofield, are you on the FB RS group? I'd like to ask you a few Repairshopr questions from an AASP perspective.
Alan H, are you able to hook Troy up with GSX / API access for testing?

As an AASP I'd definitely consider paying some extra to see this kind of integration.

As an AASP this would substantially help with streamlining the repair process with not having to switch between GSX and Repairshopr when checking in a computer for diagnostics or repair and save time and frustration from the customer who is waiting patiently. As well with the new Appointment Scheduler API through GSX, where customers can make reservations through apple support at AASP locations, this would help substantially with making sure time slots are not double booked via repairshopr's appointment booking system. If this cannot be done for general use, as an apple authorized service provider, I would be willing to pay an extra premium for integrations in Repairshopr with the GSX APIs to help improve the overall customer experience in store.

I wanted to add to this that GSX Integration would be incredible. I would really like to see this done.

agreed. Getting machine info form GSX would be huge, a big help. We have been down this road with other vendors, Apple isn't easy to work with on this kind of thing. It would have to be something RSr contacted Apple about directly and it would be setup via RSr not each user. Apple won't give non-Apple Specialist shops access to GSX. So if RSr could get that setup on that end it may fly....it is worth a try.

I hope you will consider this before the summertime. It is an integral part of our workflow when checking in a customer to be able to tell if it is in or out of warranty and it gives us a lot more detail about the specific computer. Thank you.

We really need the GSX integration. Most of the time I can look at a serial # and know within a year or 2 what model it is but not everyone can do that and it's not quite accurate enough. Would be a real time saver. Thanks.

GSX (and other API) Integration would be really amazing, considering RepairShopr was created with Computer repair shops specifically in mind

Absolutely on board with GSX integration. Would save a lot of time during ticket creation and add very useful/searchable info to tickets.

Might there be an update on this? We are just demoing RepairShopr and this would make our decision much easier.
