Gift cards is a MUST! It's a huge feature that is needed in just about ANY retail scenario! I'd like to see gift card sales and redemption tracked right within RS instead of requiring use through an external system that wants to charge a percentage in order to track the cards. Our margins are thin enough as it is.

I would like Gift Certificate Support, please. I want a way to give them a certificate that has a barcode and by selling them the certificate, it adds a credit to their account and the customer has a hard copy of it.

I'd love to see options for both, with Vantiv support being more long-term - Mag Stripe support would be nice to have in the system, especially with the Vantiv integration already being very extensive.

You can just get your own custom credit card with an amount pre labeled at the top ($30,$50,$100) and then sell it like that. Once somebody comes in to use it you just "credit" it to the purchase. It's simple in my opinion. Since we don't have a way to swop a gift card

I like to see where we can print out a gift certificate. So for sample we want to give a customer a email or print gift certificate because of their loyalty or what ever.

Then each gift certificate would need to be tracked by RS and be able to add balance as well.

Now a magstripe one from this so called company you speak of is alright but i much prefer what i am asking for above. In general if you use company like Vantiv there is a extra cost to us to use this. I much rather have in house ways to add credit to a customer account. But both not hurt for someone else.

Where do we stand with Gift Certificate Support? Whether we are using paper or our own plastic cards, there should be an integrated support for tracking amounts and issuing cards.

magstripe gift cards PLEASE. Vantiv has a great system it seems already in place.

During the holiday we almost pulled the trigger on Vantiv gift cards because they were a great deal. But because it didn't integrate with RepairShopr, we held off on it.

Vantiv gift cards are great, there system seams to be already setup. You would just need to connect to it. I'm not sure how hard that would be, but I would be the first beta tester!

We need to be able to sale and redeem barcoded gift cards.
We often use these to issue store credit or give a ways in the community.
Hope this gets picked as your next project.

When will the gift certificate feature be setup?? We here at EMB Computing are new to the RepairShopr family and I just assumed that this would be a feature built into this CRM system but I don't see it anywhere. We would definitely love to see this feature so that we could print something out for our customers to give away.

Agreed, gift certificate would be great. I have a customer out front wanting to buy one and we are all thinking......wait....we cant? can we?

Gift certificates. Something like the warranty certificates would be perfect! Then the ability to track who purchased them, their expiration and balance left.

Bais gift certificates.
With Christmas coming around the corner. It would be able to print a gift card/voucher. Something on a receipt would be fine.

A barcoded card encoded at re-determined amounts could be scanned upon checkout and applied to a sale. This would serve our needs.
