Point of Sale Controls
Some things to improve the point of sale:
1-Deposits taken from customers do not appear in the Z reports (when you close the cash registers) nor shown in the daily payments report. It should be reflected in both because those are the reports that tell you the incoming money. Otherwise that money is out of sight. Inventory\Purchase Order Polish
OK, so as an IT Company we are ordering new items all the time that need put into inventory for the first time when we create the PO, we do not always get to that on the day of the PO Creation. Since many items we use are serialized, this causes QBO errors, and many headaches, because the items will not sync to QBO Since the PO used the Creation date and not the checking date for when you got the item. Inventory Transfer Recommendation Report
A report feature that recommends Multi Location transfers.
Store A has 3 of said item.
Store B and Store C Each have 0
The report would make an inventory transfer suggestion for Transferring an item quantity of one each to stores B and C from store A.
This would result in all three locations each having the same quantity of an item in stock.

Add phone number field to contracts for easier renew calls.
Sometimes we need to create a list of clients to call to renew MSP contracts that are not on the monthly autobill. 6 and 12 month contracts etc. We noticed today that we can see the list (sorted by end date) but then have to go into each client individually to get the phone number to call them. It would be very convenient to have a phone number column which could just be printed to create a 'list' with all needed info. It already has start and end dates and name.

I would like Tickets to be able to be sorted by Customer - alphabetically
At this point, clicking on the customer column header on the ticket page will sort the customers by customer id rather than alphabetically. I can see how it could be helpful to have this alphabetically. Could you add this to our feedback forum? It would be great to hear from other users who would like this feature added too!

What about a wireless printer? I'm a mobile computer repair technician. I think this would be a good idea for those that are mobile!
Using a wireless receipt printer is more convenient for those who are mobile like myself going to house to house or to business to business.

Parts status on ticket screen
We order many parts from many different vendors for many different customers.
Moving from one screen to another to check the status of the parts separate from the ticket is a bit time consuming and can be confusing if trying to juggle multiple customers at once.
It'd be nice to have an optional module on the ticket page so we can see the status of the part (if it has been ordered, if it arrived, etc).1 vote -
Add RS Attachments to Tickets
There is no option to use an attachment on an invoice that was previously uploaded to a Ticket.
We can upload from Dropbox, Google Drive, Desktop, etc...but if we want to include a receipt (which was previously attached to a ticket) on an invoice, there is no option for that.

Would love to see some kind of tagging feature in tickets!
So a computer comes in with a virus, person tells us what kind of things is going on we tag the important things and next week someone is describing the same thing and you search with tags to find that ticket and you see all the steps taken to solve the problem!

Add Default Ticket IssueType Drop Down to the Asset Type Screen
It would be extremely helpful if you could choose the set the default Ticket Type on the Asset Screen, so when you created a new Ticket from the Asset Screen you wouldn't have to select the Issue Type since it could already be known.
For example, if I have an issue type of iPhone Repair and the Asset Type was iPhone then I know that when I create a Ticket for an iPhone Asset the issue type on the ticket will be iPhone Repair.
This could be easily accomplished by adding Default Issue Type drop down list on the Asset…

Categories on ticket part entry
It would be valuable to have a given parts category displayed in the window to add parts/charges to tickets given that the categories may be the only way to differentiate parts for like models

move 'modules' drop-downs into top tabs
'Search all' and 'add anything' in top-nav are compact and useful; would be great if tabs were more dynamic too, especially somewhere like Inventory where I often want to go straight to a sub-module.

Add Filters in Payments Report / Transaction History
Like other modules, it would be very helpful to filter payments by: Date Range, Payment Method, Tech Name, and Amount.

Update the video on importing customer data/info to match the current website.
The current video on importing customer databases/info does not quite match the current website. While it is a decent video it would be nice for a more streamlined and up-to-date video to be posted.

Customer List Zip Code Range
Would be useful to be able to specific a range of zip codes for a customer list. This could then be used to run a marketr campaign targeting a geographic area.

Ticket invoicing multiple times ?
Is there a way to stop the ability of being able to invoice a single ticket more then once. Sometimes if hit by accident we will have multiple invoice for one ticket. If there is a benefit to that I understand and please share.

Balance Open / Total Invoiced
We use a second monitor for the customer to see the POS screen. When to pull up their invoice though on their account it shows open balance and Total invoiced. Some of the customers send employees to pick up the machines that they do not want to see how much they have spent with us. I suggest that there should be a security setting that you can select to disable that on the customer's page for a particular user.

Create ticket for several contacts in a company
Say a company has several machines that need to have some software installed. The contacts within a company have different schedules, so coordination needs to be handled separately for each. From the ticket creation screen, it would be good to be able to tick off the contacts that need the software, then a separate identical ticket would be created for each.
