POS Screen Status: Open (close) link is too small sometimes we click Adjustments by mistake
The links at the bottom right of the screen need to be bigger. The Status: (Open) link is too small. It needs to be bigger so you don't accidentally click on the Adjustments link below it. Many times we have to make the screen bigger to make sure we don't click on the incorrect link.

Create ticket for several contacts in a company
Say a company has several machines that need to have some software installed. The contacts within a company have different schedules, so coordination needs to be handled separately for each. From the ticket creation screen, it would be good to be able to tick off the contacts that need the software, then a separate identical ticket would be created for each.

Balance Open / Total Invoiced
We use a second monitor for the customer to see the POS screen. When to pull up their invoice though on their account it shows open balance and Total invoiced. Some of the customers send employees to pick up the machines that they do not want to see how much they have spent with us. I suggest that there should be a security setting that you can select to disable that on the customer's page for a particular user.

add the ability to change taxable status and tax rate on line items in the iOS app.
Currently, if I use the app to add charges to a ticket, every item has the default sales tax rate added to it, whether that item is marked as taxable in RS or not. I offer on-site service in two states, one of which does not tax labor. It would help to be able to specify which items should be taxed, and at what rate. For now I just switch to Safari to create the invoice, enter payment, and email the invoice.

Customer List Zip Code Range
Would be useful to be able to specific a range of zip codes for a customer list. This could then be used to run a marketr campaign targeting a geographic area.

Update the video on importing customer data/info to match the current website.
The current video on importing customer databases/info does not quite match the current website. While it is a decent video it would be nice for a more streamlined and up-to-date video to be posted.
(Just imported customer data files, which is why I am thinking of it)1 vote -

POS Refund Improvement
Good that we can now do partial refunds. However we have noticed 2 issues in our store:
Refund/Resale. We should be able to refund an item and then have the ability to resell a new/different item. At the moment all we can do is generate a refund to put their account in credit and then process a new sale using up their credit. Refund/Resale technique ought to be achievable on a single transaction.
There are no methods to refund via POS directly. Would it not be better to allow a user to click a REFUND button on POS and then…

Filter Sales Detail by Items or Keywords
I'd like to be able to see all instances of where I've sold a refurbished desktop or laptop PC in the last 3 months, including details of the item, such as description, amount, and related invoice. The "Sales Detail Report" does give me some of this information, but I don't see a way to easily filter the results. Fiddling around with a CSV works, but is a bit annoying to quickly find information.

move 'modules' drop-downs into top tabs
'Search all' and 'add anything' in top-nav are compact and useful; would be great if tabs were more dynamic too, especially somewhere like Inventory where I often want to go straight to a sub-module.

Categories on ticket part entry
It would be valuable to have a given parts category displayed in the window to add parts/charges to tickets given that the categories may be the only way to differentiate parts for like models

make it so you dont have to create a Purchase Order to input inventory orders
Creating a purchase order is not always a needed step in order to enter parts. In fact for my company its an annoyance instead of a helpful tool. If i was able to input the inventory i want without creating and sending a purchase order i could skip spending all the time it takes to do that and just input what i already have purchased. Some of my vendors come to my locations twice a week and i order what i need from them when they show up. To have to go in and create a purchase order after i…

Add Default Ticket IssueType Drop Down to the Asset Type Screen
It would be extremely helpful if you could choose the set the default Ticket Type on the Asset Screen, so when you created a new Ticket from the Asset Screen you wouldn't have to select the Issue Type since it could already be known.
For example, if I have an issue type of iPhone Repair and the Asset Type was iPhone then I know that when I create a Ticket for an iPhone Asset the issue type on the ticket will be iPhone Repair.
This could be easily accomplished by adding Default Issue Type drop down list on the Asset…

make Check boxes ( or new field type ) color coded and include checks and x's!
sometimes generic checkboxes for worksheets can be checked if the product has the appropriate feature but when it does not it is left unchecked. When looking at tickets at a glance it is hard to discern whether this product doesnt have the feature or it is not working. added color codes or x marks and just black check boxes would fix this issue easily.
For example: the list below tests for functionality (indicates field color dependent on box status)
Camera [Check mark](green)
Flash[x](red)

disable products and/or mark as clearance/eol/discontinued
At the moment we have to disable items one by one, and if you are running a search it then takes you back to inventory page and not the page you was on. Could we not have an additional button on each product page to allow disabling from there - as the only way is currently from an Inventory listing. *Similar things have been mentioned before I notice.
Secondly, why not integrate a few checkboxes within the products so you can mark them as clearance, end of line, or discontinued? Would also be good to be able to then search…
