Add a color for awaiting parts on the Ticket Dashboard
I love the dashboard and the quick status view it gives me (I am the owner of the shop and use the dashboard every morning to get a quick overview of the work flow), and world love it if you could add a color for tickets awaiting parts on the Ticket Dashboard.
Hey, we have a link to the new dashboard from the old dashboard – it’s beta right now, but I’m going to mark these as complete because it’s really usable as of right now.
Give it a shot, instead of /tickets/dashboard, it’s tickets/dashboard_new

@Steve: Just FYI this dashboard was mostly my concept - glad you like it :) We also use light brown for "Waiting on Parts" and yellow for "Waiting on Customer". IMO, a shipping box icon will just make things messier; kind of like if "not diagnosed" wrench. Here's our list of status colors: http://i.imgur.com/4UvmDSV.jpg

Though, I'd rather have the box turn a light-"UPS"-brown color... or a purple... something that isn't used yet. Though brown makes more sense.

I had a similar idea, as well as maybe marking it as white (in progress) and have a visible SHIPPING BOX icon symbolize there are parts waiting. That way, if a user doesn't want to color coordinate it, they can just keep things minimal.

Hey Jordan - there was a bug that made it not work if you had tickets with no comments. That has been fixed, thanks!

That link only produces a black screen with color options on the left, which I have saved and refreshed and then still same screen.
