Apple Pay Integration
We would love to be able to use Apple Pay as a form of payment.
This does work with Vantiv and has for a long time, we missed this suggestion but it’s updated now!

What ever happened here? I've recently started using mobile pay apps and they are simple and fast and would love to accept them in-house.

i agree with Daniel, too. we are an Apple repair shop so our customers specifically have been asking why we don't accept it yet.

i'm finding it impossible to set up Apple pay with RSr via Authorize.net - has anyone been able to do this successfully?

I spoke with someone at Authorize.net and they stated that it would be on RepairShopr's side of the development for it to be integrated. We are all here because we are in the tech business; we have to stay on top of technology constantly and by having Apple Pay, well that's a way of showing our customers that we are doing so!

Stripe allows Apple Pay, but it requires the site/app build in access. Not sure if that means RepairShopr can build it in, but if it could, at least from the client login screen, that surre would be sweet!

Hi Jamie,
I'm pretty sure this is not a limitation of RS. It's more of a feature your merchant provider (FirstData, MerchantWarehouse, Chase, TransNational, etc) takes care of. All RS does is integrate with your choice of a gateway (Authorize.net, Stripe, PaymentGear, etc) and that gateway is responsible for transmitting ApplePay data over to your merchant provider.
You should just be able to reach out to your merchant provider and see if they can upgrade/replace your hardware to support ApplePay. Then, payments will work just like they do now, and you shouldn't need to do anything further with RS.
Does this help?
