We were a small repair center a few years ago. Now we really need to know where we placed the item to cut out searching! It would be very beneficial to look at this again. It was mentioned in 2018, and seems to have been lost in concept.

Okay, when I started RepairShopr, I thought I could do a search under an inventory selection and it would search notes. I was not incorrect. For some reason this is working again. Thank you, please keep this feature going! Cheers. It would have been awesome, if an email was sent out though.

It would be highly beneficial if you needed the manufacturer name, and it does not need to be in the description or part number. It would be nice to see this back in the works after two years. We do a lot in electronics, to search by a temperature rating in an inventory item would be great, or another searchable field with out text restrictions. Another example might be for certain device specific searches. Take the origin into the cell phones - This one button which is Part # 1234. Description Button Replacement . Notes - Only to be used on model A, B, D, S, & Y. It would be great to have the notes search in inventory or search everything for "model D" and come up with part # 1234, or in the ticket part entry too. This way you can also check the inventory, if it is here, you can have the device back in a day, I can do it now, or I have to order one, it will be about 7 days....

I had one of my customers come to me and ask if there was a way to see all tickets associated to one asset. Of course I said "yes" (because I can see it on my side) Under the customer, find the asset, click on it and there it is. Unfortunately, they can not do this on the portal side. I sent an email a while ago, and they said they would look into it. I will add my votes here to make it possible I hope! It is a benefit for the customer to see if one unit keeps coming in for service, if it is a piece of equipment that needs to be replaced permanently, or to educate on the employee side. We repair electronic musical equipment, we can try and keep them going forever, but there will be a point, it is not economical to repair anymore.
