I agree this is a great idea and I would find it useful as well. Toby, as a suggestion, you could try what we do and use a generic account for any computer that is shared usage. We have an account called POS User. Then all staff just enter any notes with their initials. It's not perfect, but neither is having techs use the wrong account.
