Multi currency
It would be nice to have the option to deal with multi currency. We deal with several countries and invoice companies in their local currency.
A possible way to deal with this is to specify a default currency and some alternative currencies. When you get payment for an invoice, it should be possible to supply the exhange rate for that payment so it gets calculated correctly. All final numbers should be in the local/default currency.

We don’t currently have plans to support multiple currencies. While we realize this is important for a certain segment of users, it’s quite a big feature and we don’t foresee being able to support it properly in the near term.

I'd give all my votes for multi-currency if it made a difference.
I know stacks of people in Canada, the US and the EU who won't even touch a product if it doesn't have some form of cross-border currency handling.
The "certain segment of users" mentioned would likely be significantly more paying customers if their currency needs could be met.

I also just came across this post. My company also deals with several companies and we cannot bill our clients from foreign countries which is a huge effort to transpose everything to another program.

Bump this post even if its old. This is a much needed feature as I too have clients all over the world, some pay in Euros, some American dollars, some in New Zealand dollar etc etc. It would be really a great option to have as I can't bill my customers for example in Serbian dinars if they're in any of the other countries mentioned above. Surely there's a bigger demand for this feature that currently presented.

Makes sense to have a multiple currency option, surely customers would just have a currency allocated to them, inventory would then have an option for a value for multiple currencies amounts?

Regretable especially as we are in the UK and trade and invoice in Pounds, Euros and Dollars both USA and Australian, we wil have to send a separate invoice, why not simply add an option section for the invoice which pulls current currency rates and provides a main total with or without tax, far simpler and resolves the issue for most as they would just select optional currency rates totals and add the payment details for the currency to the invoice template.
