Account for travel time in calendar.
it would be great to have travel time calculated between appointments and have that time "ear-marked" as part of that appointment.
Say you have an appointment from 12-1 and the calculated time from that appointment to the next is 1 hour, it would make the appointment at 2-3 show 1-3 in our calendar, but 2-3 to the customer.
Too many times have I had my employee's schedule back to back appointments, and not account for 30+ minutes travel time.
We added appointment buffers to the booking systems recently that was meant to address request!

The travel time, could also come up as like a checked colour, so the job is blocked colour but the travel time shows as a checked colour. Meaning the time is technically 'allocated' for something (being travel). I can see that we can block the time for travel but it doesn't physically show in the calendar.

I would really like to see a field type diary schedule, we run 4 field teams tracking and scheduling would be such a big thing for us, we currently use an api with viamente but I am sure there are others out there it would be great for the customer to get a visual representation via there portal

Don’t think internal policy will help for my instance. We have appointments that range from 30 minutes to all day and travel time that ranges from 10 minutes to 2 hours..

I think an internal policy could accomplish this just fine. For instance, we only book appointments in 3 hour blocks to account for travel time; as our appointments are often only 1-2 hours.

Also would love to be able to see the time of anything posted to tickets on the calendar! I spend to much time trying to figure out the day for my techs and the tech report is only so good.

This would be great since we often travel more than 60 mins to some field jobs.

this would be good for the company I work for as well since there are 2 field engineers and we have customers in a variety of areas.
