Add CC surcharge item on e-mail "Pay by Credit Card" link
I use stripe, and think the "Pay by Credit Card" link is great - it all integrates and allows my customers to pay easily. However, I charge a surcharge for credit card, which basically means I'm out of pocket if my customer clicks this link to pay. In some instances, I know in advance whether they'll pay DD or whether they'll pay CC in which case I can add the charge manually - however, if they see the link and think "that's cool" - it costs me money!

when a customer is emailed an invoice, he/she has a choice to either transfer the invoiced amount to my bank account or click on the "pay with credit card" link to pay the invoiced amount using their credit card(facilitated using the stripe integration).
However, I get charged a transaction fee by Stripe and hence, I do not get paid the full amount.
Is there a way to automate the 'add-on' fees (being a percentage of the invoice) so that the Customer gets charge the invoiced total + credit card fees automatically if they click on "pay with credit card"?
Please help.

Relates to http://feedback.repairshopr.com/forums/165658-general/suggestions/6835287-paypal-and-credit-card-surcharges
I think the "automatically" was missed when this completed -

Actually, the Federal law was changed about 2 years ago. You absolutely CAN charge a credit card surcharge across the U.S. Now.

I'd look into whether your state allows this. We started to and then read the fine print on our merchant account and found according to the TOS you can't charge a surcharge.
Hence why a lot of retailers offer a cash discount -> their charging you automatically to use your debit but if you pay with cash their discount 1 or 2% typically.
We weighed our options and decided to up our hourly by a buck and just absorb the fee.
