Worksheet Table
Can we please get some sort of table for worksheets? For an example, I have a customer with a unit with 4 sensors. I basically have 6 data points (all the same question) that I need to answer 4 times. This makes for many multiple worksheets. If I could make a table with the same 6 questions, but provide a column for each of the 4 sensors to answer the question it would really help a lot in terms of visibility of the data to my customers.
Couldn’t you add questions like:
Question 1 (sensor 1):
Question 1 (sensor 2):
etc?
Changing this for everyone doesn’t sound like an obvious correct thing to do.

Hey Troy,
So I've been playing with this a bit but it's still clunky. If I could grab fields from the worksheets somehow, if they produced variables that I could grab in the template for instance, I think I could make this work on our end without you guys needing to build a solution for an industry that isn't really your core target as I see it (mobiles and computers).
Is there any way to do this? Worksheet fields named so that we can access them in the template editor? If need be I could start a separate suggestion on this, but it would really give me (and I would hope others) a huge functionality increase, as I could then stick the data into a visual table for the customer very easily.

Have you tried making them narrower so more fit "per row" on the printed version?
We can help with that if you want, it can be done in the CSS (styles) in the ticket template editor.

Hey Troy,
That would effectively give me a worksheet which is possibly 32 questions long, and which may change if we are only using 3 sensors instead of 4, or there's one different. Basically the questions don't change, but the answers may and the sensors may as well.
For instance, here's what I need to look at (we're looking at gas sensing technology):
Gas Name
High Alarm
Low Alarm
STEL Alarm
TWA Alarm
Calibration Gas Expected
Actual Value Detected
Calibration Pass/FailSo what I need to do is have a sheet for each one of these sensors. That means when it displays on a page in the template (we have to give this sheet to customers at the end) I have 4 huge worksheets that take up the entire page. It leaves me with about 3 worksheets per page. That means I have to hand 4-5 pages to my customers for every job they bring me, with lots of white space and not much information per page.
If I were able to create a tabled worksheet, this would directly solve my problems. The worksheet could be full width on the page, with as many columns (for sensors) as I would need. Sometimes gas detectors have 6 sensors. It could apply to any repair company which is running the same type of analysis on a piece of equipment that needs that same analysis multiple times.
Honestly, my most major gripe is how these show up to the customer. If we need multiple worksheets to get this done, one for each Sensor, so be it, but I need some way of formatting that into a 1-2 page report for the customer. Maybe some way of altering the way worksheets show on the page? The template editor has a "worksheet_tables_compressed" field, but after checking both the compressed and standard, there is no difference. It gets worse when the ticket prints and the page break occurs randomly in the middle of one of my worksheets.
Thanks for taking a look at this personally!
