An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Weaver commentedI've done this using the part order. Just create a ticket then use the "+New"--"Part Order" then fill out the information on the Special Order. I Do wish the name would be different on the ticket for such instances. Maybe add a "Type" field on the "New Order" with options like "Part Order", "Special Order", etc.

An error occurred while saving the comment Chris Weaver commentedI would like to see it before that when you actually create the bundled Item. This will help when building computers with inventory items and eliminate the need to keep up with which serial number we used in the build.

The best way to do this is through the Estimate section. Search the part and it only shows retail price, not the cost. Unless you add a manual Item but then you just choose not to put that in (or just put it in while the screen is away from the customer then when its added the cost disappears for you to view later.
