Trigger customer labels based upon fields entered at ticket creation
When we book equipment into the workshop we always record if there was a power supply, a bag, software etc.
It would be great if RS could print a label for each item that was recorded on the ticket.
i.e.
Customer books in laptop with power supply but no bag
RS prints a customer label for the laptop and power supply - one is affixed to the laptop and the other to the power suply
Customer books in a laptop with a bag plus a Software DVD, no power supply
RS prints a label for the laptop, the bag and the Software DVD
Therefore all items received into the warehouse will have an identifying sticker.
The quick cheat to this would be to allow the person booking the items to specify how many labels need to be printed.
Many Thanks

I wanted this same feature for our shop - that's why we had a checkbox early on in the software called: "Has power cord?" - that would actually trigger an additional label to print.
We had lots of problems making that reliable, and haven't figured out a nice way to automate this.
I love the idea, but we also made it so simple to print additional labels lately, that it became less and less important.. Are you finding that it's too time consuming to click print manually for additional labels?

Are you currently checking in each piece of equipment as individual assets? If so, you can simply set triggers in Google Cloud Print to automatically print asset labels when tickets are created. By default (right now) you must specify if you want 1, 2, or 3 copies. We always print 1 copy, and if we need more, you can simply click "print asset label" for additional copies. Is this what you were looking for?
