Customizable Templates
It would be nice if we could create custom templates using the foundation already in place with the invoice template features. I am thinking along the lines of custom letters, proposals, etc using the same tags already being used on the invoice templates. We often send letters to customers or potential customers introducing ourselves. It would be nice if we could create a template for that type of thing using the tags already in repairshopr so that it automatically populate name and address information. Maybe even create a tag for ticket or asset name so we could refer to that if needed.
The basic feature is already I place with the current template system if you could just open it up and allow us to create our own and save from a blank. Hope this makes since.

Interesting idea. We’ve had some people repurpose a template they’re not using (Estimates, for example) in exactly this way.

It appears you cannot use tags from one template on another template?
i.e. I wanted to use some invoice tags, {{invoice_date}} on the intake form.I was doing this as I wanted to make a custom template and using the intake form as a kind of spare.

I think that this would be a really useful to have this as a feature, another one would be if you can change the size of the templates print at.

I was just thinking about this! We have eWaste forms and forms for sending units out. It would be nice to be able to have customizable templates that we could use that would pull info and attach to the ticket for record keeping.
