All our stores are now working with serialized inventory for unique laptop sales. Hoping we can push for these related/specific upgrades to help make the Customer Purchases and Purchase Orders more usable during the ordering/receiving process, and the Search and Invoice pages more helpful during our sales process:

1. Add the ability for us to enter the “override sale price” on serialized items after the payout in Customer Purchases, but before clicking “Add to Inventory”.
   a. This would also be helpful for the Refurbs module, since investing time/parts in refurbing a machine almost always will result in that specific sale needing a unique/inflated sale price.

2. Add a “Print (serialized) Sticker PDF” button to the popup triggered by clicking a unique product serial link. This would be unbelievably easier to generate price stickers for serialized inventory as compared to running a report every time.

3. Since serialized inventory is globally visible to all users, list the sale price and location details next to the list of serials. This would be extremely helpful when looking through a giant list to find out what inventory is available at other locations, not to mention quoting prices.

4. Additionally list the sale price and location details on the advanced search. The search already displays the serials, and there’s tons of room to add a column for sale price and location to the left.

These ideas are collectively unanimous feedback from our entire staff, and I’m certain will only make big-chain users lives SO MUCH easier! There is honestly no downfall to having more information and shortcuts like this available. These will save loads of time and searching for information we need all the time.
