Customize status and progress headers
I have a number of associates in different sectors that repairshopr would benefit however they would like the ability to customize some of the status toggles and progress headers to fit their industry.

Agreed the statuses don't quite cut it surely we could add a few custom ones. Please implement this

Agreed, Customizable customer progress are need. Order Parts, Parts On Order, Waiting on Auth,
Just let us decide on want available existing list function it applies to.

Custom statuses has come up in a few idea posts here, but was denied on grounds that changing the list of statuses would affect functionality of the system elsewhere.
If this is the case, the ability to add more statuses of our own while maintaining the current ones would at least be functional, if a little inelegant.
There are many situations where the current status list is insufficient for us, for example we'd like statuses like "Contact Customer" or "Ready for collection".
Please think about implementing this.

This is definitely something that I would like to see added. Custom 'Status' options, i.e. Pending Estimated, On Test, Waiting for collection etc.

Being able to add custom status would be great for example:

- Ready for pick up -
