Be able to assign loaner assets to tickets
We offer loaner machines to our customers while their machine is in the shop for repair. Currently, it appears that assets only belong to a customer in sort of a 1 to 1 relationship. Could we make assets that live in a 1 to Many relationship? This way the asset could be assigned to a ticket for checkout and then removed from the ticket once the item has been returned.

Still looking for updates on this. We are in the Medical Device repair industry. We send out loaners often so that docs do not have to reschedule procedures while their device is being repaired..... It would be great to have access to a "loaner inventory" area where we can issue out and keep track of loaners. Thanks

It would also be nice if there was a way to hold a specified dollar amount for the loaned asset until it is returned in good working condition.

i am looking for this functionality as well. we are a phone store and provide loaners to customers all the time. would be great to be able to click on an asset (phone) and repairshopr tells me where the phone is or which customer has the phone.
