Canned responses to Leads and Customer windows
It would be nice to send canned responses straight from a Lead when you open it to process. Or make a customer and send a canned response from the Customer window.
This way we would not have to create a ticket to send canned responses or we wouldnt have to use estimates, because we are using canned responses to send estimets to customers.

My shop manager just encountered this and complained to me. He was under the Customer Page and went to New > Email, and was disappointed. Just hoping what seems rather simple is still on y'all's radar.

Can this be looked at? It's very irritating that we can't send standard price offers to our leads by mail.
We use standard mails in google mail so everyone gives complete uniform answers. Now that we moved our leads to repairshopr this is really lacking.
Thx

This would be helpful, canned responses from where ever I can send email within the program

I agree with Kevin Lee. Same thing here. I keep copy/paste from a concept e-mail. Actually many leads ask the same questions so it would be great if we could choose from the canned responses.
Thanks! Cheers. -

We have a set of ticket types starting with "Lead - " for example, "Lead - iPhone Repair". We convert ALL LEADS to what we call "Lead Tickets" (which are tickets with the "Lead - XXX" ticket type). This can then be used for ticket automation or to manually progress the ticket through different lead stages (using custom lead statuses), follow up emails etc.

I like the idea but the problem I see is that we have customers send us email and if they do not respond to the ticket email that we sent them and just shoot an email to our repairshipr address it will go to the lead and not the ticket correctly, so we have to manually move their email details to the proper ticket. I would hate for them to get a canned response automatically that is not what they are expecting.

I was just about to submit this idea. I currently have to copy and paste from a Google Docs document, as all of my emails are pretty generic.
Please implement this.
