Pricing Tiers for Inventory Parts
Whenever we obtain parts from different vendors, the pricing at which they sell us the parts may differ and we adjust our retail price accordingly.
It would be ideal if we can have different pricing tiers depending where we obtain the part from.
Example:
X Vendor sells part for $20, we sell part to customer for $30
Y vendor sells that same part for $15, we sell part to customer for $25.
The main idea is that the part in the example is the same part, but was obtained from a different vendor which is why the price is different. We do not want to create the same inventory part again just because it has a different cost and manually changing the cost and price of the part can lead to extra unnecessary work which makes us have to double-check invoices, estimates, and ticket items to make sure the cost is as it should be.
