A method to combine items
First, this is different than bundling (as far as I can tell).
TL;DR We would like to combine the stock of two (previously considered) different items, and have a indication for our accountants/inventory people that those to items were merged.
We found out recently that many iphone 5s repair parts and iphone se repair parts are interchangeable, even though we can order these parts separately and at different prices from our parts vendor. Now that we are sure that we can freely use some of these parts for each other's repairs, we want to combine those inventory items to help make ordering simpler.
For example, in RepairShopr, we want to take our '5S Screen BLK' item and our 'SE Screen BLK' item and permanently merge what stock we currently have of those into a '5S/SE Screen BLK' item.
Is there a way of doing that without just reducing the quantity of one and adding the the quantity of the other?

We would also like to merge Inventory Items but more because of accidentally putting the same items in more than once.
