bump a ticket
Hey guys, I've been using Repairshopr for a few days and I want to love it. The problem I'm facing is that some of my projects go on for a few days, or we have to chase users and they say 'I'm busy call me next week" etc, etc.
My question is how do I schedule, bump, hide a ticket so that it will re-open or a reminder will go off to come back to it. My current ticket list is massive and a lot of these are just waiting.
I know that some of you use it and it seems fantastic except for this. I have contacted support and Adam sent me this.
Thanks for writing! We don't have a way to 'pause' Tickets and have them pop up again later, though we can put these Tickets in a custom status of "Resolved - waiting for follow-up" to have them hide from the Ticket list, then create a reminder to come back to this Ticket and finish it off.
Creating a custom Ticket status with "Resolved" in it will make that Ticket act like the regular "Resolved" status and hide automatically from the Ticket List. You can then create a Reminder by navigating to the User Menu in the upper right, then going down to "Reminder" and creating a new one.
I have tried setting the ticket to waiting on customer and setting an appointment time doesn't notify me. If I set it to resolved - it does hide it but I don't think that's how it's supposed to work.
Thanks in advanced.
