Bin system
Two things that our company would really like to see
a) have each location determine their own prices
So in the inventory for example, each location can choose how much stock they have for each part. We also need to have this flexibility for prices at each location.
b) A device location function.
We would like to have a "device location function".
Make this mandatory option that comes up in the ticket.
We need two fields:
1) one to determine if it is a phone, tablet, laptop, PC, or Other device
2)
When a customer comes in with a device, we want to assign a Pbin (phone bin) number between 1 and 60 a Tbin (tablet) number between 1 and 20. LBin Laptop Bin 1-5 and Dbin Desktop bin 1-5
It is important that each bin cannot be used more than once.
After the ticket is closed, the bin should be reopened for reuse
Also, in the Ticket settings, let the location choose if they want to opt in or opt out of the Bin system.

we currently use custom fields to achieve this but the downside is we can't search what item is supposed to be in a box/bin location when there's just a random box on the side because a techie forgot to walk through with it when the customer arrived to collect it whilst it was just being finished off on the side - so yeh - this would be a really great feature

Hopefully this can be implemented soon.
Many other customers have recommended a similar system.
I am willing to skype with a developer to talk about exactly what we want if this post is not clear enough.

The type of device chosen in field 1) will determine which list of "bins" will appear in field 2)
