Refurbs for Refusbishers - Functionality to provide service, bill, etc
Are there any plans to add service functionality to Refurbs?
We operate our own storefront but also provide professional refurbishment services nationwide to others. I've been utilizing invoices to track everything but the upcoming customer credit functionality keeps me interested in Refurbs. I’m using a combination of invoices, inventory management hacks, and Google forms to keep everything moving smoothly.
So a refurbishment customer sends us a box of broken screens. We test the screens upon arrival and make an internal invoice. The internal invoice allows us to track progress, sell parts as needed (refurbishment is a craft), and eventually convert the refurbished screen(s) into a saleable items (inventory hacks). There’s a customer invoice that we sell the completed assemblies to as refurbishment bundles and I manually enter the results of testing. As our customers try to manage their inventories, they usually trade one models screen in for another. This forces us to perform more inventory hacks to get the math worked out on the invoice.
I have an idea of how Refurb could help us moving forward but I thought I’d start with an explanation of how we do things now and see what you have to say on it. Any insight or questions would be appreciated to get the ball rolling. Let me know how we can assist in the development if this is something you’d be interested in adding.

I agree!!! Also please add a bulk refurb import feature for those of us who receive thousands of computers to refurbish every month!
